I'm going to cry...
my 130 hours of vacation time has been decreased to 80 hours:( ....that's 50 hours WASTED. I could have been home with my kids but instead I saved them for when I needed them most. Only to toss them away like yesterdays garbage.

Mindy-We got bought out. Likely, we'll get laid off but for now during the transition time, we pretty much take on the new co's employee benefits. So, 80 hours and that's it...nothing more.
Severence will likely be 1 week pay. Had my co. laid me off I would ahve received 10 weeks.
Basically....ummm...it just all sux.
Wow! That sucks the big one. I'm so sorry that you are stuck in the middle of all this. Ah yes, I remember where you work and who officially purchased you guys last week.
My thoughts go out to you...when are they planning the layoffs?
