What's your best Thanksgiving memory?
What's your favorite, must have food on TG?
What's your least favorite food on TG?
If you could travel anywhere for Thanksgiving with your DH, where would you go?
Re: Turkey Lurkey POLL!
My best Thanksgiving memory was when my mom and dad bought their first house... I was about 12 or so. The place was big enough that my mom's family could come over. It was fun!
My absolute favorite is mashed potatoes and gravy...YUM YUM YUM!
My least favorite is something my step mother made...stuffing with italian sausage. icky. not for me.
I would love to have Thanksgiving with my DH that overlaped into the first week of December for my birthday in a tropical destination. Probably Jamaica. We loved it there!
Best memory, going to the movies with my Mom and my little brother every year after dinner when I was a kid. Great family time!
I love corn, desserts, and sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top.
Least favorite=green bean caserole?
Somewhere exotic, the Carribbean, Hawaii, Fiji, etc.
Celebrating Thanksgiving at my Grandparents house in Seaview with my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins.
Stuffing... Mmmm I Love Stuffing!
Along with regular stuffing, my Mom always makes Oyster Stuffing and I think that is a horrible thing to do to such a wonderful food!
Our Beach House! Each year we try to have Thanksgiving there but there is always one of us (I have 5 siblings) who can't make it so we end up at my Mom's house in Vancouver just like every other year. I've actually travelled over Thanksgiving a few times and always feel like I'm missing out. Now I have a rule, travel before, between or after the Holidays but never during.
Best Memory: Black Friday sales following T-day with my mom.
Favorite Food: Pumpkin pie (see picture to left) and mashed potatoes.
Least Favorite Food: Green bean caserole.
Travel: That would be fun! I'd stay at a romantic B & B on the Oregon Coast.
- making my first full Thanksgiving meal for my husband the first year we were dating. (he said my turkey was better than his Mom's....shhhh don't tell anyone!!!)
- Stuffing for tukey day is my favorite...love it! (and I don't think we are having it tomorrow at our friend's house =( ) I'll make it this weekend.
- Gravy is my least favorite.
- Travel??? Hmmm...maybe to New Zealand or even to Vail, CO where we have a family place to stay and my brother is close by.
