OK - who already opened the can of french onion rings?

And I am not even making green beans this year! But the damn can called to me at the gorcery store.  Salty onion-y deliciousness!

The can is half gone after last night when we ate them plain and I threw them on top of some steamed green beans!

The pecan pie remains safely in the fridge.....so far.

Re: OK - who already opened the can of french onion rings?

  • I shoved the can in the back of the cupboard so I don't think about them....

I'm not making green beans either, I'm putting them on a broccoli casserole.

  • LOL!  Now I'm craving them ... with some tapatio!  Ai!
  • My grocery store had them on BOGO so I got one to eat now and one for the green beans. I didn't even tell h that I was opening them because I didn't want to share!
  • My sister does the green bean casserole, so they are safe at her house.  But ever since you posted that jello recipe yesterday, it's all I can think about!  I'm waiting till tomorrow to get the stuff at the store so I don't cave and make it now.
  • I keep putting my can to the back of the cupboard also, but they somehow keep finding their way to the front...Hmmmm
  • Glad I am not the only one! This is theproblem with trying to shop for T-day early. You will still need to go BACK to the store to replenish!
  • LOL! I love those things. Last year I left my grocery bags on the kitchen floor and my dogs got into the can. It was crazy.

Off to search for the jello recipe...

I've been resisting to open the can I bought from the grocery store last night.

  • That's it!!!  I'm not baking for the baked goods exchange!  I'm bundling up french onions to give to all of you!  LOL!  Not half a bad idea!!!!

Damn...that means I have to go BACK to the market and stock up before the gtg!

  • Ha, ha, I totally did, and I eat them straight out of the can..yummy!
  • I absolutely love these but I find they don't stay fresh at all when the can is opened.  They are only good the first day I open them.  Anyone else have that issue?
