...lightening may strike me...bad mommy issue...lol!
I have to work on Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. Family and I were going to go to IL's in Riverside and stay there most of the weekend, but that's scratched...or is it!!!
I just talked to MIL and she's willing to keep the girls from Thanksgiving to Saturday night when (DH and) I could go back to sleep over and spend time with family from OOT.
I may just be sans kids, but at work for a couple of days. OMG! Can I really handle being away from my turkeys for that long...????
Thanks for letting me share!
Re: ...lightening may strike me...bad mommy issue...lol!
OMG! ?I haven't even left Jacob for 1 night yet, DH thinks I am weird, but I want to cry at the thought of leaving him overnight. ?Bed time is our special thing.
I think you are going to miss your turkeys terribly! ?But look at the bright side, you can enjoy DH 1 night with out interruption. ?UH OH! ??
They'll be fine. I just left Rhian and Reese for the 1st a few weeks ago and things went prety smoothly. I'll be leaving them again 12/7-12/9 for a girls trip to Vegas and can't wait. Taking time for yourself doesn't make you a bad mommy, it makes you a sane mommy!
Thanks Girls. First of all, yes I'm having a bad mommy moment, as I came up with the idea ... not DH, not MIL. Just cuz I have to work and be grumpy doesn't mean that the girls can't have fun at ILs.
OMG! I know that Jos would love it...she just loves MIL and her cousins ... so it'll be fun for her.
But Nat too ... ooo my juicy turkey! I'm not convinced that she'll be ok, but I'm sure she'd be fine. Same thing, she loves MIL and her cousins.
But it would be nice to have dinner and time with DH. Oh my!
