What's everyone planning on doing for Thanksgiving? We're going to my sister's for a bit and then to see the in-laws. They are going to keep Haley overnight so we can go shopping Friday morning. It's the only time all year I can get my hubby to voluntarily go shopping with me so I always take full advantage! lol
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Re: Plans for Turkey Day?
We are cooking at home. We have friends coming for dinner t-day afternoon. I am not shopping on friday........too much for me! I will be doing my shopping over the next few weeks.
I am looking forward to putting my tree up this weekend
My husband and I are flying on turkey day to Alabama for the Alabama/Auburn game. It's like the MSU/Uo M game. Huge rivalry. We are also going to visit some family while we are down there.
Funny story. Our cousin told us to bundle up for the game since it's "only" going to be in the high 50s low 60s...thats practically shorts weather here
Hmm..."only" 50s or 60s sounds so nice. Robert and I are making Thanksgiving dinner together this year. Last year he had to work, so this will be fun. We have a ridiculously large turkey for 2 people. I'd tell you how big, but then you would all laugh at me. Let's just say there'll be lots of leftovers! We're making the pomegranate turkey I made last year because we both thought it was amazing!!! Not sure where we're going shopping yet. We made a black friday list, but we didn't see anything worth standing in line for. Hopefully we're ordering a 32" flatscreen TV tonight. We wanted to get a PS3 to go with it, but there don't seem to be any really amazing sales on them this year.
I have to work from 7am-11am then come home and make up the dish that I'm taking to the in-laws and be there by 2. After we eat I'm going to sit down to make a plan of attack for Black Friday. I used to LOVE going... But for the past 3 years I haven't been able to, since I have never been able to get the time off before.
Happy Thanksgiving!
