Hi Ladies,
I am going to be in the Lansing/Grand Ledge area over Christmas to visit family (DH and I are currently stationed in Alabama for the Army) and I want to take my mom out to get manicures and pedicures. Can anyone recommend a good place to go? And what I should expect to pay? Thanks so much!
Re: A Christmas Question
You can geat a great mani and pedi for a really good price inside the meijers on Saginaw. I know it sounds cheesy BUT it's a brand new shop and they do a very good job and are really reasonable. It's called Angel nails and you can get a pedi (depending on the add ons) from 25-40 and mani for around 20. The store is completley enclosed so it's not like shoppers will be right up in your face.
If you are looking for spa experience then I would suggest douglas j. You can expect to pay 35-45 for a mani and 45-60 for a pedi. The plus side is you do not tip and you get a free bottle of opi nail polish with your service.

Douglas J is also good. The aveda institute is all students so it may take a little longer, but has a nice relaxing spa atmosphere....it is in east lansing

I would also suggest Douglas J. I have had good experiences every time that I've been there.
The one that I go to on a regular basis is in Mason and that's a little further out than I'm sure that you want to drive.
