How are you?

Re: The_Jen626

  • Thank you!!!  I'm doing well, great actually.  Had a great long weekend, just bought some new maternity clothes (and a new bra, ohmygolly it's amazing to have a bra that fits!!)... getting excited for Christmas and New Years, we're going to the beach and I can't wait!

More importantly, how are YOU feeling?  First trimester is pretty tough sometimes... are you getting enough sleep and FOOD?  I can't believe how fast time is flying by for you!

Are you already back in California?  How was your trip back?

Here's some more cute pics we took over the weekend, I am going to use one on our holiday card this yearSmile

  • Awesome photos! I love #2 the best...you guys are so cute!!! But #3 does show off the bump the best.

I know what you mean about bras - sports bras are the best for me right now. First tri is hitting me hard. I go to sleep at 8pm but between discomfort and constant urination it feels like a get no sleep. Nausea is all day long. I hate anything heavy but can keep down salads, bread and soups, oh and ice cream! I'm tired and moody all the time - my poor dh gets the whiplash of it. But if after all this...I'm loving it. It's such an amzing experience.

California is too hot! 74 degrees today and with raging hormones it feels like 95.

Great to hear from you! Stay in touch.

  • Oh it's been relatively cold up here, and I'm LOVING it... cause I am so hot all the damn time lately!

Some other foods that were easy for me to eat: lots of cereal, oatmeal, applesauce, toast, bananas (also helps with charley horses, when you get a big cramp in your leg while you sleep...those suck!)

Good luck with everything!!  You should get to hear the h/b in a few weeks, it's so amazing!!
