Leftover pizza and some salad.  Boring.

Same here while watching BL so I know I'll feel fat by the end of the episode

  • I always watch Biggest Loser while snacking or eating ice cream.  Zip it!

  • Protein shake...which I'm sure will evolve into a frozen pizza or something equally bad for me!
  • Is Souplantation good or bad? There's one close to us, but it doesn't look compelling from the outside.
  • Soup Plantation is HEAVENLY!  If you EVER want to go - seriously I will go with.

Wan - I cannot think of bacon without thinking of you.  It's almost creepy how much I associate certain things with certain nesties.

  • Souplantation -- you get what you pay for.
  • Come to think of it, I've never been to Souplantation.
  • I also like souplantation, but I agree you get what you pay for. It is basically as big soup and salad bar that has other stuff like pizza, mac n cheese, baked potatoes and muffins....plus soft serve ice cream :) I love soup so it makes me happy!!

  • i'm sorry, d, but "heavenly" is NOT a word i would associate with souplantation.

unless you consider the plethora of senior citizens who frequent the joint.

    that was wrong, wasn't it?

  • This is heresy!  SP is so damn good!  I get the same things every time:

    - caesar salad, and I pick out a bunch of the croutons, especially the ones at the bottom of the bowl that are a little soaked in the dressing

    - Asian chicken salad, and I pick out the chicken

    - potato salad - various kinds if available

    - clam chowder, topped with a lot of cheese, green onion, and a splash of tabasco

    - sourdough bread (to go with the clam chowder)

    - pizza bread (with ranch dressing)

    - blueberry muffins (with the honey-whipped butter)

    - I take a few of their apples and I bring them home

    Big Smile

    How is that not heavenly?

Ok look.  I get one or two with the intention of eating them.  And then I don't.  So I bring them home instead of having them get thrown out.  And one time, I was putting one back and the lady said "oh baby no no - just take that with you if you can't eat it now" - that was all the green light I needed.

I'm one of the reasons buffet prices have gone up, I'm sure.

    Embarrassed

  • I do like me a mix of foods, but I've only entertained that at Vegas buffets. Souplantation may be a step down. But now I have to go. Just for the apples.
  • stop it, d!  i'm busting a gut over here.  OMG.

    or, don't.  it's a great abs workout.

  • I had a friend who would take ziploc bags in her purse to take the blueberry muffins home from Souplantation.
