What is the target audience of Talbots clothes?
Re: What is the target audience of Talbots clothes?
The models may not be old ladies, but I find all of those clothes very...mature.
I think they look stylish and professional. It's all in how you wear it.
But apparently I'm an old person.
I just bought their tweed pencil skirt - I love it.
My interview suit came from there also.
Maybe I'm a 31 year old 'old lady'.
Really? Where do you get your work clothes and can you post a linky or pic? I am not picking on you, I am simply trying to figure out what mature means to you. I think those dresses are kind of sexy, personally.
I actually really like the clothes in the fall catalog, but I'm pregnant and can't wear any of them! Once I lose the baby weight, I'll buy suits and dresses there.
I'm in their demographic though (35+ professional). Before I got pregnant, I bought a really cute t-shirt and skirt there in the spring, and look forward to being able to wear them again.
I did a tongue-in-cheek "Ask a Dull Person" thread awhile back.
I said my favorite store was Talbots.
It's been my 21 yr old sister's favorite store for years
Their target customer is the woman who likes classic clothing, and has the budget for quality .
I don't care who shops there - I love the Talbot items I own.
