Re: Starbucks?
Hot Drinks - Skinny Caramel (or Hazlenut) Latte. Salted Caramel Mocha is pretty amazing but it has lots of sugar!
Cold Drinks - Caramel Frappuccino Light Double Blend. The Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino that they had this summer was AMAZING but holy sugar!
(Can you tell I LOVE caramel?!?!)
Pumpkin Spice and a few others are only stocked in the fall/winter, but sbux have peppermint syrup and mocha all the time.

I usually make my own but I still get a Starbucks venti chai (iced or hot depending on the season) occasionally.

My sweet babies:

My manager was constantly telling me this had to be done to get the full flavor of the chai, but I feel like it makes the consistency watered down. 3-5 pumps is close to the amount of liquid in a s shot of espresso, and they don't add water to lattes.
I do usually make it with an extra pump or two (as kipnus suggested) when I'm making it myself, or when I'm getting someone's employee discount. Price-wise, if you add cinnamon it comes out the same as extra pumps of chai, and sometimes I'm in the mood for that instead. It's a slightly different flavor.
The boxes of chai that you can buy in the store are not the same, by the way. Employees can mark out a box of chai, or tea bags, or a pound of coffee every week, so I tried the chai a few times. They've already added water to those, so it takes a lot more of it to get the same flavor. I ended up pouring most of a glass of just chai and topping it with a splash of milk.

Very interesting. Now I know why I liked their iced more than their hot! And why I disliked the homemade chai tea I made with that concentrate. I found a recipe and make my own from bags of tea. I am still perfecting it, but I like it more than Starbucks and it's way cheaper!
If I do go, though, that's what I get, or a hot chocolate.

I love making my own drinks - like a vanilla frap with a shot of raspberry is so good!
I also like nonfat caramel macchiato. YUMM !
The joys of teaching!
