NBR: Need some womanly input...

Okay, ladies. I'm wanting to know what small things you find physically attractive on men. From crooked smiles to dimples or even freckles...what do you read in a physical description and instantly feel like this:

No matter how strange you think it is, please list it. Now....GO!
I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.

  • Does it have to be a facial feature? Does this man have his shirt off?

  • Honestly, tattoos and piercings usually work for me. Nice hair.
  • I usually notice a guys eyes or his mouth first. Unique eyes, like a guy I had a thing for in HS had gorgeous pale blue eyes, and one of them had a tiny fleck of golden brown near his pupil.

  • Hair and eyes for me.  I swoon for long hair on men, especially ones with large eyes.  I fell hard for the human men in Lord of the Rings. Faramir, Boromir, Aragorn, and Eomer most notably. Of course once their wigs were off I was...meh...

I'm with Lizzie - I like reading about swoony, soulful stares.

I'm a sucker for beautiful hair.

I'm also a sucker for dimples.

Wow, I just described the MMC in my book.

  • Clean shaven, and short hair-cut. Strange I know.

  • The combination of dark/black hair and pale blue eyes kills me dead every.single.time.

  • This one guy I used to work with could SLAY me with his eyes. It was embarrassing. My (male) coworkers would tease me about it relentlessly. It wasn't even a particular feature - they were pretty blue eyes - but it was the WAY he looked at you when he talked to you, like there was nothing else to look at in the whole world. Usually too much eye contact gets uncomfortable, but with his eyes it made me seriously stumble over myself like a freaking drunk.

I haven't thought about that guy in years!

  • More to the point

    - brown eyes that look like melted pools of chocolate when he is excited.
    - THAT smile when you walk into the room and he notices you.
    - His lips right before he kisses you.
    - His laugh
    - The freckles on his shoulder that beg you to play connect the dots.
    - The way his jeans fall down on his hips
    - The feel of the callouses on his hands against your skin

This is me too. I don't mind a short, well kept beard, but I prefer clean shaven, short hair cut. I don't care for tattoos, and piercings on guys is a turn off for me. I guess I'm pretty boring.

But the big thing for me is eyes. I like unique eyes. DH are green and have a fleck of like an orange-y brown in them.

  • I love it when guys are incredibly good at something and they know it.
Scruff - yes please, but especially when they are tortured about something and just can't be bothered to shave.
    Davids are pretty universally loved.
