WTF Weather

I checked the weather before I went to bed last night. There were 2 hours they said 'scattered' Thunder storms... so why am I waking up in the middle of the night to heavy rain only to find it's going to POUR all morning and most of the afternoon? They couldn't have predicted this? I wanted to go shopping a few places before taking C to the Dr. but there is no way I'm getting these 2 in and out of the car in rain like this!

And I'm assuming Janma was planning to go to school- this is all her fault!

Right as I was leaving my phone rang and it was an emergancy message saying if I was on post - TAKE COVER! I'm like ummmm do I go to work? So I went, and the whole time the radio was saying to go to the basements etc. I crossed the 95 bridge - NO RAIN so I freaked out thinking it doesn't rain if the tornado is sucking all the clouds up.

Lucky I made it ok, and it wasn't even sprinkling when I got to work.
