DH & I are pretty sure we are going to remodel our main bath. (we have a 1.5ba house)
Here is picture of the current layout.

And this is what we are going to change it to.

(hopefully those pics work)
We are going to cut that full wall in about a foot or so to open it up. Widen the sink area and flip the toilet to the other wall and build a half wall.
So my questions to you...
We have about 69.5 inches of space for the new sink. I'm going back and forth with what I want to do.
2 - 30" sinks
a 60" double sink
a 60" single sink
a custom double vanity to cover the full space
a custom single sink vanity, maybe with hutches on side to cover the full space
There are too many choices out there!
The first thing I need to figure out is one or two sinks. I would love double sinks, esp because it's our only full bath. But, if that limits my counter space, would it be better with just one and have extra storage?
So what would your choice of vanity be?

Re: help me remodel my bathroom
BUT I do love having my own. And we have more storage under the sink, which helps.
And if you're worried about counter space, I haven't felt much difference at all. Especially since you'll have more storage underneath to work with.

I pinned this awhile back. I love the first pic that has the storage cabinet between the sinks (not a fan of the lamps in the mirror, though).
Good luck with the remodel!

What would you do with those extra 9.5 inches left over? Is there shelving that thin? Maybe you can make some if that extra space would bother you.
If the space doesn't bother you I personally have one long 60" counter centered. Seems like you could potentially get bigger or more cabinet/ drawer space that way.
