I was going to leave work early today to spend the afternoon with MH, today is his furlough day. He is going to be out of the country from August 20 - September 17 and I have been working 10 hour days, so I thought it would be nice to spend some time with him. Turns out FIL is at our house right now and is staying with us again this weekend and he wants to go to Bass Pro Shop, so MH will be entertaining him. I'm really pissed because I wanted to spend the rainy afternoon watching Lost with MH and now I'll probably just stay at work all day just to go home to my FIL. I am so tired of my ILs.

I am leaving for a vacation next Friday, my last day is Thursday until Sept. I will be gone 10 days to spend time with my Grandfather while my parents are on a cruise. I am the only one in my office that knows how to pay the bills. We had a turn over in the accounting department and no one else has taken the time to learn what I do. I don't care if anyone in the office ever learns how to do my job so I can keep my job but we pay bills for a care facility. If they don't have their bills paid on time it could cause a lot of trouble. I am just wondering how many calls I will be getting during my vacation on how to do my job.

This is just the start of him being gone

SacGeoLover Awe! Thats sucks! I do not deploy for at least another year (just got off deployment last year) but I know when I do, it is going to be rough. ***HUGS***

The kids starts school next Tuesday, everyone is so sad, I think I might be the only who's doing a happy dance that they are going back.

I just went off on a nurse at our pediatrician office, told her to shove it, and hung up as she was trying to down play a possible diagnosis for DS#1, I'm sure she will tell our doc who will turn around and tell DH since they are colleagues and I will hear about it when he gets home.

DH is actually able to help with the baby today but tends to pass her back as soon as she fusses. I heard her start fussing and locked myself in the bathroom so he would be forced to handle it himself. This may make me a bad mom but I need a break!

I think we've all been there done that

I know at least for my DH, he got better as ds got a little older. I can't even remember the last time he handed him off to me like that

Just know there is hope at the end of the tunnel!!

Friday Confession on Saturday: DH is at the Tigers game with Friends and I'm planning on watching as much Pretty Little Liars as I can. I watched the first episode on a whim on Netflix and just found my new guilty pleasure.
