NBR: if you could bring ONE TV show back from the dead which would it be?

Re: NBR: if you could bring ONE TV show back from the dead which would it be?

  • I also loved Friends but think it was done and ended at the right time.  For me, I'd have to say Pushing Daisies, and not just in reference to the post title (if you never saw it, Ned could bring people back from the dead for a minute by touching them).  It was a wonderfully clever and unique program that ended far too soon.

  • There was this show on NBC for 5 minutes called Mercy about a bunch of nurses in NJ. I loved it. Le sigh.

  • My So-Called Life but I want them to be the same age as when the show went off air and grow up so we can see what happens to them all.

THIS! Yes! We got 19 episodes of this amazing show and then nothing. Cancelled. Who cancels Jordan Catalano? Dumb.

I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.

lol. I'm surprised. I feel like I'm the only one who ever watched it. It was so good though. When it was cancelled, I just sat there in shock.   :-O

  • Smash. I loved all the cheesy ridiculousness of it and the behind the scenes look at what happens on Broadway shows. It was a trainwreck there in the end, but man I hate that it was cancelled.

I feel like Friends and Gilmore Girls both ended at the right time, so I'm not sure I'd want to bring them back.
I agree with Friends ending well, but I didn't feel like GG was complete. I loved the way it ended, but I don't feel like the story was totally finished.

I didn't even know Smash got cancelled.  I really liked that show.  :(

I would bring that back and Crossing Jordan.

I think GG ended where it should have because neither Lauren nor Alexis wanted to continue and the original show creator wasn't even on the series any longer. I would have liked to have seen a lot of things get resolved, but I think another season would have killed the show I loved dead.

  • Ohh, Gilmore Girls. <3
    That or Buffy.

Or would it be really cheesy for me to say Saved By the Bell. I know the College Years was cheesy, but still - Zach and Kelly!

  • Ugh all of my favorite shows ended well. Friends, Boy Meets World, Gilmore Girls..

I'd have to say That 70s Show. Bring Eric back and end it correctly. I hated it after Eric left.

    Friends!

If I could choose another, I'd choose Fringe.

Edit: now that I saw the Wentworth Miller post below, I'm going to say Prison Break.  I loved that show!
