So I never knew DH's exact s/a results. All we were told was they were normal. Morph was low but in the normal range. Well I just got the copies of our records from the RE and DH's morph was 2%! That's not normal when right there it says normal = >4%. Now I feel like our first 3 clomid cycles were a waste and this explains why we've only got pg with IUI, even though the RE didn't think that there was a problem.
This s/a was almost a year ago now and we did have significant improvement from iui#1 to iui#2 in terms of count etc. but now I'm wondering if he should be getting another s/a or if we are going to do IUI if it even matters.

I honestly don't know much about morph.
I do know, though, that H's count changed drastically between treatments. Last spring (2012), he had 30 million. This past fall, our first IUI was 16 mil and it continuously fell to 7 mil by March-ish. I know this sounds crazy, but his strenuous exercise in spandex (running and biking) was most likely the problem. He cut it out and the count was up by the time for IVF in May.
ETA -- this count was after being cleaned or whatever - taking out those with bad morph.
FET - transferred two embryos (boy and girl) - Nov 2014 - BFP!
Morphology is a tough one to identify a cause and "fix". Count and motility seem to be affected by lifestyle/diet/medicine changes but in the research I've done, morphology rarely changes. That is unless you can identify a medical reason for it that can be repaired by surgery (like a varicocele).

Before getting a new SA, I would meet with your new RE and ask if it would change the plan at all if DH's morphology was 2% vs. 4% (or normal.) If it doesn't change things, I wouldn't bother.
My DH had 1% morphology and although my doctor told us it was low, it didn't change our IUI plan. His count numbers were always so high though that 1% of DH's count was way higher than 4% of the "normal" count (if that makes sense.
