CBE Digi OPK

I'm debating on buying the CBE Digi OPK for this upcoming cycle. But that's a lot of money for one cycle IMO.

Ladies, what do you think? Worth it cause it's easy? Not worth it? If I use it in combo with IC when would I use the digi too?

Also, where did you ladies find it cheapest?

Thanks!

Re: CBE Digi OPK

  • Not worth it IMO. I didn't learn anything from it that I didn't already know from a wondfo, and it's terribly expensive.

You may feel differently since you are doing a medicated cycle, but I was not a fan. If, however, you do decide to buy them, I've found that Wal-Mart tends to have them for the least $$$.

  • I liked using digi OPKs. It gave me a concrete answer of yes or no. I always used them after I got what seemed to be a + cheapie. I just used them to confirm. I liked knowing but if you are good at interpreting cheapies then it might not be necessary. Good luck!

  • I haven't used a digi yet, but my Dr recommended it for medicated cycles. Just so that way you know for sure.  He also recommended to get it on Amazon.  I believe a 2 month supply is around $35.

  • I loved them! However, I could get many cycles since I would PIAC and use a cheapy first. If it looked close to + then dip the digi. They'll go much further this way!

this is more or less what I'm planning on doing next cycle. No more trying to guess whether or not a wondfo is positive or allllmost positive, looks positive if I hold it up to the light and look at it at a 45 degree angle, squinting, lol. If it looks positive, dip a digi to confirm.
  • I liked em. I waited till like cd 10 or so to start using them, so they last me quite a while bc my cycle is fairly regular

  • I liked them.  I always knew around when I was O'ing so I didn't use that many.  However, I learned the hard way that you have to discard anything that is unused after a cycle and buy a new box for the next cycle.  Apparently, it stores and compares your information.  So I was buying the 20 box thinking I was saving money but I actually was was wasting it.

I might be wrong but I think it was discussed here before that you could 're-set' it by taking one that would definitely be -ve. Someone correct me if im wrong.
I think it does somehow compare and only gives you a +ve when it's a surge compared to the last one you took.

  • I used the digis in combination with ICs. I bought the 21 count box or whatever and used maybe 3-4 per cycle.

Okay. Thanks ladies, one more question. If I buy them, should I buy the regular CBE digis or the advanced? Too many options!

Honestly, I am not sure.  There is so much conflicting information on the internet.  It just made me really wary and paranoid especially when I was using them to monitor my medicated/IUI cycles.
