More specifically, Northeast!  ;)  At least, I consider PA to be Northeast.
There are a lot of PA/NJ people here, right?  It would be cool to meet up in NY or something.  Massive GTG.
    This would be awesome!!!

  • I am also in PA!

Where?  (Did we already talk about this?)  I'm in the Lehigh Valley near Allentown.
I went to college at Muhlenberg for 2 years.  Allentown holds a special place in my heart.  Then I realized that I couldn't really function with the ocean being so far away, so I changed majors, moved back to RI and lived into a beach house.  But I had a lot of fun at Muhlenberg.

  • I lived in TX when I was younger, and we moved there from the northeast (my parents are from Long Island). My mom was in the post office once, and the guy behind the counter asked her what country she was from. She didn't think she had heard him correctly, so she asked, "Do you mean what PART of the country?" He said, "No, what country?" So she shared that she was from New York. His reply? "GASP! You're an AMERICAN?!?!?!?!"

Texas. It's like a whole other country.
I think Texans would say that they are their own country. Silly Texas! DH and I were talking to someone about eventually moving back to Kentucky or Tennessee. She looked at us completely serious, and said, "why would anyone want to leave Texas."

NY thinking it's part of New England drives me nuts.

I consider the North East based on hubby's job's definition:  Maine to Pennsylvania to Virginia.

I just got off a call planning for a work-trip to San Antonio and the woman told me that if I have to rent a car, my VA driver's license will work just fine, I don't need an international one.

    She was joking.  I hope.

I love Roanoke. There is so much to do here (festivals, farmers market, local breweries, etc). Everything is within a short driving distance and the people are so nice!
