E reader vs. Paper book

I like both, but I still probably read more paper. My new goal is to try to start buying strictly e-books, and get any paper books from the library. I won't be able to stick to it 100%, but I'll try my best.

I love my Nook. I think that its been about a year since I have read a paper book.

I use both but I tend to use my Nook Color more often. It's just so much easier to carry for my commute. Plus I'm spoiled by the ability to buy a book at 11pm and have it instantly. I keep trying to remind myself to reserve the books from the library more but I tend to download novels on my nook and borrow non-fiction paper books from the library.

I prefer Paper and read most of my books that way unless I need to buy it and it is cheaper on the Kindle :-)

I am almost exclusively a Kindle reader. I love physical books and always buy physical copies of what I've really loved on Kindle and know will want to reread and keep forever but I'm really only at home to sleep these days and the Kindle is so much easier to bring with me everywhere.

I read virtually exclusively on my Nook, except I still read my paper Bible and my paper Entertainment Weekly.

My H, on the other hand, goes back and forth. He's probably reading paper vs. Nook 50/50.

I love my kindle keyboard and read off of that when I am buying new books however if I can get a book at goodwill for $.99 I am all over that.

I'm exclusively e-book. My local library, even though it's in a big city, has a shitty selection of paper books that I'm interested in and I've never seen a single series that they actually have all of the books for (not that they are just checked out, they don't own them at all). Not to mention, I love the convenience and anonymity of my Kindle...I like reading in public without people knowing what I'm reading and being able to carry 100's of books with me at a time.

In case anyone is unaware - most libraries offer free e-book checkouts

I do that a lot with my local library. The fact that millions of people have touched physical library books kind of creeps me out.

You can even 'borrow' books from the e-book companies a lot of times. I know Amazon allows it with their Prime membership.

I just got the book being discussed on here in about a week from my library as an ebook. I was glad because I don't live as close to the library as I used to and discovered there was a discussion coming up and was able to get it quickly!

This. If I love it, I have to have a paper copy for my bookshelves. It's hard to not just purchase the paper copy for that reason.

It would be hard for me to buy an ebook then a paper book later, but that said I typically will buy ebooks for convenience and if i want a series or a book in paper I have no issues buying used to save $

Yeah if I love the Kindle book then I buy a used paper book. I just like seeing it on the shelves, even though I know I don't need two copies haha.

I read on my e-reader unless I find a paper book that I want to read. I like the e-reader because it is light, compact enough so I can put it in my purse, and buying books that way is cheaper.
