I don't think that's prudish. It's not my style, but if that's where you felt comfortable then it's perfect for you! I would never make fun of someone for having or not having sex.

We waited until our second date. About 3 days. But I could already tell he was somebody special, if that counts for anything. :-)

Nope, I think waiting is awesome. I made dumb mistakes when I was really young and they just snowballed. Obviously I am happy with how life turned out, but I would hope that my future kids make better decisions, wait longer, etc.

We started dating right after I turned 17, so we waited until just before my 18th birthday. So about 9 months I think. Although we did a lot of other things before that. Lol

You think you're a prude, DH and I started dating in 2004(seniors in high school) and didn't do it till the day after our wedding in 2010 because we were too damn nervous that first night. it's not like we didn't have fun together and I was open to whatever DH wanted, but he's very conservative.
