    Hey everyone! Please note that when someone flags a post of yours it is sent to my moderation mail -- I am then able to review the flag to see if it violates any TOS. If it does, then you will get a PM with a warning and your post that violates TOS will be deleted. If it is flagged but does NOT break any terms of service then you won't receive a warning but unfortunately the flag can not be taken off of the post. So, technically the flags do not mean you have a warning. We are working on a new system for warnings and I will keep you all looped in on this information. Until then, please feel free to PM me with ANY questions you might have. ALSO, please do not abuse the flagging system. Even if you flag a post, it doesn't mean that that person will be given a warning.

    I know there were some members from the Book Club board who were randomly banned for 'spamming', which didn't actually happen, and the mod had to unban them. Too bad we don't really have a mod.

    @nestcayla, we actually have a great mod on the book club board, we don't have one who is active anymore on this board, which would be helpful since we tend to attract a lot of hateful trolls for some reason.

    As of right now the flags do not expire nor do the warnings. Although we are working on a new warning/flagging system and if this changes you and the rest of the community will be looped in on the details.

    I will keep you posted on all of the information about the new warning system as it is developed!

    If you're going to assign us a mod, at least make sure it's someone who's around pretty often.  We've had the issue in the past where no one responded when we had some pretty awful trolls

    Please don't randomly assign us a mod, it should be an active member of our community, and we have had more than our fair share of hateful people come here and harrass members in the past.

    Remember when we tried to get new mods. I do because I volunteered to be one, but then nothing came from it. Instead the mod came back for a day changed the new to the board thing and then left again.
