    @MrsJenE Nor do I.

    It's slippery as waterweed.
  • DH and one of his buddies are going to a beer event tomorrow- all day. I'm going to get so many little things accomplished around the house while he's away. I actually look forward to him being gone so I can do some of the reorganizing that I want to do. I'd rather be doing that than hanging with some of my friends to be honest.

  • Also, I am listening to Lara's Theme from Dr. Zhivago right now and have convinced myself that I need to spend the night curled up on the couch with a bottle of wine, the cats and Omar Shariff.

    MrsJenE  No kidding.  Good thing we aren't single and have to fight over guys.  I can see the stilletos flying now.

  • I wrote a KIT email an hour ago to all of my old colleagues forwarding my new contact info. Only two have responded so far.  I am getting a complex about it.

  • i logged into facebook last night after having it deactivated for a month - i immediately got judgey and annoyed by everyone I know. I had to deactivate it again.

    I had a crush on one of the facilities guys at work. he's growing his hair long which is making me less attracted to him. I like to think he's doing it because he knows I have a BF and his cuteness is torture.
  • I'm sort of annoyed it's Friday. DH works from home today and while it's nice sometimes to have him around, I'm running out of maternity leave and really just like my time at home during the week to myself. Plus, he was more than obnoxious and overly dramatic last night when baby refused to eat/sleep. I just want a break from him acting like he's sooooo exhausted when I'm the one who is up taking care of a kid all night.

    Also, I still am not eating dairy in order to keep little one's stomach from being upset (breastfeeding.) It's only been two weeks and I would borderline murder someone if it meant I could have a milkshake and cheese and ice cream right now.

  • I'm so freaking exhausted. I can hardly keep my eyes open. I guess it's making me irritable, because I've been fighting the urge to strangle my coworkers all morning.

  • My boss bought a Keurig and about a million different kinds of K cups, creams, and sugars for the office. It's super awesome and fast and convenient. The coffee it produces is good. Better yet, the coffee it produces is free (to me). Although the coffee tastes good, is easy to procure, and is even easier on my wallet, I still miss my daily Starbucks.

    I feel like anything that warrants being committed is serious enough not to get out after 3 days.

    Well long story short she has been out of work for the past 6 months because she doesn't like people (the first two she was on disability because she has been having MAJOR panic attacks when it was time to go to work). Well she has been going to out patient classes to help her deal with her anxiety and she has a panic attack on Friday (because she was going to a wedding with PEOPLE... no joke) and she told them about it and how she gets very depressed after and they convinced her to emit herself...

    There is a lot more to all of this, she is someone one who likes attention and would rather stay home with her dogs and not have to work, she has been playing up this whole things for a long time. I'm not saying the panic attacks aren't real but she brings them on herself. My BIL is worried because she is someone who can play the role of perfect little me where the psych ward can think she is fine, just so she can go back home like she wants. (which seemed to be what happened!)

    THIS WHOLE THING IS JUST A MESS and I feel so bad for BIL!!!

    Thanks! It has definitely been a tough road, but we pray about it and be there for BIL as much as we can!
