She is serious. When a group of us do get together, inevitably books will come up and she gets all mad at us since "Not everyone reads!" She despises reading for some reason. Maybe she was dropped on her head as a child.

She is really not my fav person and this just really solidifies it!

She read Divergent and Insurgent too fast! She read them both within 5 days or something. There was no time to do Madison Mondays. I will update when she reads Allegant though! She won't be able to fly through it with school and activities.

She did start the Seven Realms series with me but hasn't gotten far at all yet.

She should send a letter to her congressman or the PTA! Last I heard, students are still expected to use books in school. I think they even put the vast majority of important information in them! She should really help people realize the brain damage that school must be causing. Clearly new graduates would be doing better in the job market if they hadn't had all that exposure to books!

Who are these people who are so forcibly against reading? I have 2 coworkers who have to read an article for something at work and then discuss it at a meeting and they are so pissed about it and were talking (loudly) about how they hate reading and it's just so dumb to make them read.

Like I totally get it if reading isn't your thing. That's cool, there are things I don't like too so whatever. But I would never be like "watching tv is so dumb!" or "running is stupid!" or something. So why do some people get so upset about reading? I just don't get it.
