Re: Thursday Randoms

  • @shellmh are you married to mh? He only buys meat with the bone in and I hate it.

We are currently living in limbo....and have been for over a month. I hate this. Every week, all I hear is, "We should hear something by the end of the week for sure." Than all of the sudden another Monday rolls around and nothing. Living in Limbo sucks.

Also we never freeze bananas because we never have them long enough. Now I really want some banana bread. Maybe I'll make a zucchini loaf instead.

@mrsvedo What are you currently reading?
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. Only have about 60 pages left and I'm both dreading and can't wait to finish it tonight. (Dreading only because I have no idea what is going to happen and the story is twisted.)
That was my favorite Gillian Flynn book!  Have you read Gone Girl and Dark Places?
I have! And liked them both!

  • @Lauren620 It's worth dreaming out.  You can't have it without whipped cream though. Make sure you have some on hand if you make it.  Maybe some vanilla ice cream.  SO WORTH IT.

Ok, now I'm making myself hungry.  I do have some banana bread in the freezer...

It totally is.  I did that last night.  I made scrambled eggs and hot dogs. It sounds gross, but I love it.

I figured this would not meet with your approval.  But it pays for a massage and I want one so bad.  Plus I really do miss the students/my friends there.  And I have no backbone.  I know.

I just don't want you being hurt.  You were traumatized when you left there.  I also don't want them to find a way to suck you back in.

I promise not to be sucked back in.  I really won't even be dealing with my old boss at all - I'll just be doing portraits and then leaving as soon as it's over.

  • We went to a concert last night, and the guy standing next to me crazy-danced all night.  I'm having trouble describing it, but he would throw his arms out in front of him like he was going to leap into the air, arms fully extended at about a 45-degree angle, palms up and fingers splayed, barely missing the people in front of him (he actually hit them 3 times, I counted, and the last time the guy turned and yelled at him).

I started yelling spells from HP to amuse myself but since it was so loud nobody could hear me.

  • I have been in tears for most of the past 16 hours due to RIDICULOUS drama in DH's family.  I'm not sad about it, I just can't handle it anymore and crying is the only way I can let the stress out because I might just put my fist through a wall.  Why are people so INFURIATING?!?!?!
