Any goods or bad this week? Well I got AF on Monday so that's a boo... AF literally last 1 1/2 days which is nice but confusing and weird. I'm also starting to feel the pressure of making DH go and do a SA now that I hit 10 months.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? What the heck did every one drink this month that got so many nesties KU!?!?! I want some!!!
QOTW: Are you excited that fall is right around the corner? Favorite things about fall? I like the fall but I am definitely not a fall lover. I like apple picking and pulling out my boots from the closet. Fall brings winter and I hate winter time so that's about all I enjoy with the fall.
CBHQ: If you got your BFP this cycle or next cycle how would you tell you family? Would you try and involve the Holiday's in your big reveal? If this cycle works for us... we would probably tell our family on Thanksgiving and would put a Big Brother t shirt on our dog. If it isn't this cycle it is next cycle I would wait until Christmas and give everyone some sort of baby related gift when exchanging gifts.

I have an appt with my endo at 1:30 today and an appt Monday at 2 with my OBGYN. Maybe they'll start doing something for me.
I've been especially down lately, but I'm trying to turn it all around. I started back to temping this morning, so hopefully I won't be quite as lost in my cycles again.

I LOVE all things fall!!! It's my favorite time of the year.

I'm not sure i would be able to wait until the holidays to tell! But with as long as my cycles are, I probably will find out right before them! Haha, I try not to think too much about it. It just seems to make me more sad when AF arrives.

Any goods or bad this week? Eh, I'm burned out with grad school, and it's only week 3. 13 more weeks until winter break! Also, Monday was a rough day TTC-wise. I want it to be the 30th so I can get started on this thing and see what's going on.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? Nope. Same shit, different day.
QOTW: Are you excited that fall is right around the corner? Favorite things about fall? Yes! I hope the 90s weather we've been having the past few weeks is gone for good now. I love wearing my sweaters/cardigans/boots/flats. I love that college football is back. I love that pumpkin flavored things are back. My birthday is soon too, and I love the holiday season.

Ha, I doubt it'll happen (whomp whomp Debbie Downer), but if it did I would tell my mom on her birthday (October 8th). If it happened later, yeah I'd probably wait until Thanksgiving or Christmas. But I'm hoping to go to the Coors Brewery for our mini-vacation in 3 weeks, so it can wait.

Any testing plans OPK's HPT? I did some OPKs this week but they were neg. I only did them once a day in the morning, and FF had me O early again this month. After the confusion last month, I think I might get a new thermometer because something is off.
Any goods or bad this week? So many people have announced they were pg on facebook this week (like 4-5, with 2 today) I had a break down this morning. I also got a baby shower invite in the mail this morning which I was not expecting. Major emotions right now.

QOTW: Are you excited that fall is right around the corner? Favorite things about fall? yes! I am so ready for it to be below 100 degrees! I love football and usually leaves changing, although we don't get the second one here in Texas. I'm just tired of sweating all day every day.

We only see out family at Christmas, so we have the idea of sending them either a onsie or a pacifier with a note saying that we will probably forget to bring one so they can hold onto it. From baby W I'm not sure what we will do it we tell them at Christmas. My sister will know ahead of time if it happens because we are going to Hawaii with them next month, so I might have to go ahead and tell my parents.

Thoughts, questions, concerns? I'm a little sad that this is going to be our first and last Clomid cycle for a while. So it's going to be back to anovulatory and 90+ day cycles. It makes me bummed, but oh well. I'm not very positive about this cycle in general, but you never know.
QOTW: Are you excited that fall is right around the corner? Favorite things about fall? Fall is my favorite season. So I'm very excited about it. My favorite things are the smells of harvest, helping on the farm after work, and anything pumpkin.
CBHQ: If you got your BFP this cycle or next cycle how would you tell you family? If we got one this cycle or next, we would probably give my parents a gift some night at dinner that has a onsie that says "future farmer" on it.
Would you try and involve the Holiday's in your big reveal? We would, but I'm not sure how. H would like to give his dad a t-shirt or mug that says "worlds best grandpa" on it, and have him open that at Christmas.
H also wants to tell his brother in a fun way. He always takes care of our dog when we go away on weekends, and they're best buds. So we want to photoshop a picture of him and Sadie together, with a caption coming out of Sadie's mouth that says "can my baby brother/sister hang out with us?" Or something along those lines.

Not re: TTC... just been worried about my Ninna, but it really sounds like the doctors are being very proactive and while it is spreading very rapidly, the cancer itself is only at stage 1. One day at a time. She should be starting Chemo within the next couple of weeks, so that's freaking me out a little. I'm trying to occupy myself with trying to find things for a care package for her.

Any testing plans OPK's HPT? Probably not for about another week; I don't O before CD20 at the earliest.
Any goods or bad this week? Frustrated to no end with DH and his utter laziness toward all grown-up responsibilities. If it doesn't involve fishing, video games, or screwing around on the computer, it doesn't get done (unless it's making dinner, which he does still manage to do).
Thoughts, questions, concerns? So we're supposed to go to France next year in late August with my dad, stepmom, and little sister. If I'm not pregnant by the end of October, I need to seriously consider if we want to NNT/avoid sex during my FW. I'm fine with the idea of taking the trip with a newborn, but if I get pregnant in Nov-Jan, I'll be too far along in the pregnancy at trip time to be allowed to fly. WWYD? Just keep trying and be willing to give up the trip (I've never been to Europe and very much want to go), or put TTC on hold for a few months so you don't end up in your 3rd Tri come trip time?
QOTW: Are you excited that fall is right around the corner? Favorite things about fall? I'm not a huuuuuge fall fan, but I like it. I especially love seeing the leaves change color (but having a humongous oak tree in the backyard makes raking leaves an absolute nightmare for 3-4 solid months). I love cozy sweaters and boots, too, so getting to wear those again is exciting.

I really hadn't thought about the family reveal in any way except calling them up/going to see them and blurting it out. I honestly don't think I could keep it secret long enough to pull off a "reveal" to family, except maybe the extended fam we have farther away. They'd probably get a cute holiday photo card with the news worked into the greeting message.

Been using OPKs, but it's been a while since I've had anything close to a positive. The last thing I want to do is give up too soon, though.

Waiting on my new niece or nephew. He/She should be here very soon. Bad is the breakdown I had in front of my brother. It's very difficult to be so happy for them, and so frustrated for us.

H has been talking about going to get his SA done. Due to my new job, and new insurance, I'm not quite ready to start my testing. Is there any use in sending him now?
Also, we each have our own insurance. I imagine that mine would cover any tests/etc on me, and his would cover his. Anyone else have experience with that?

yes, and no. Fall is awesome! Winter is not. But if we can get through the winter we're so close to new house time, it's crazy.

I haven't really thought much. I am very close with my mother, and I think we'd tell immediate family pretty quickly. I don't know that we'd use the holidays, except that it would be an easy excuse to give a gift?

I am thinking about skipping charting this month and just forgetting about "trying" and just "doing." I have regular cycles and O around the 15/16th so I would know if I'm late. Just a thought I had. I'm sick of watching temps and reading into them.

as far as your question goes.... that's a tough spot to be in. I think I'd NNT, but at the same time, it'd drive me nutso crazy to be on hold for a couple months. Which are you leaning towards? I hope you get PG by the end of October so you won't have to worry so much about it.
@luckyangel07 I would NNT for those 3 months. Still continue to temp since your cycles are all over, but don't worry about OPK's, CM, etc. Just let it be.
@sweilson33 If you don't have any underlying conditions, then I would wait to have H do his SA until after the 1 year mark.

Sewilson33 – As you have been so regular, I’d wait to have DH get an S/A til the year. Unless your doctor thinks otherwise. Does DH have any risks that make it likely something is wrong and makes you want to have him go earlier, as in works with chemicals, rides bikes a lot, injury to the area at some point? Also, since you are regular… skip a month of charting if it will relieve some of the pressure! I would if I could.
transponster – lots of luck on the 30th! But I hope you get a baby from @seahorse01 before that and don’t need the appointment!
