This. And granite counter tops. Ew.

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  • ok, I need clarification here. If you guys dislike granite countertops (keep in mind that we're not talking about marble, because that's different) what do you like? Cause I grew up with tile countertops (yuck) and that fake plastic stuff that's either a solid color and peels off with time, or it looks like fake wood (yuck). What do you guys have?

  • Ours are hideous formica-ish cheap-o crap. I hate hate HATE them! And the floor is linoleum tiles. ::shudder:: And the walls...they're some sort of textured stripey paneling...not even wallpaper over drywall; no, mother-effing paneling. These 3 things in combination are the reason none have been fixed...because we have to fix all 3 at once and haven't had the money. I wouldn't loathe my kitchen so much if it didn't have this hideousness going on.

I'd love black granite countertops. And while yeah, the stainless steel fridge definitely shows fingerprints, they're not hard to clean off, they don't bother me that much, and I don't really like solid black or white appliances.

  • @LuckyAngel07 Thanks! We love it too. We just got really lucky as it all came this way. The fridge is actually one huge freezer and one huge fridge.  We don't use all that space, believe me! Hopefully some day we'll have kids and can complain there's no space, lol. It'll be a FWP :-)
