New to CT and don't know anyone!

Sixth Anniversary First Comment Combo Breaker

Hey ladies,

I haven't been on the nest in ages! I have been married for 3 and 1/2 years now, and I never spent much time on this site once we were married. That said, DH and I just moved from Austin, TX to Branford, CT! We have been here a couple of months and are finding it really difficult to meet people-- especially people around the same ages as us (late 20s - early 30s) who are in a similar place in life. We are married, but not exactly newlyweds... childless, but hoping to have a baby soon. If we had a child already it would be so much easier to meet people, I think! Do any of you live in the New Haven/Branford/Guilford/Madison area? I know this board is pretty dead, but it can't hurt to try, right?

    Hi! My husband and I just moved to Guilford and are in a similar boat, we don't know many people and are looking for other couples. It's hard without kids or a solidified group of friends! We're 25 and 28, married for a year. I don't know how to private message or anything, but if you'd be interested in meeting up for a winery tasting or something like that around here let me know!

    I agree, I moved down here from VT and it's super difficult to meet people if you are in the late 20's/early 30's age range.

    I just moved here as well. We are in downtown New haven and interested in meeting people. We are 33 / 35, no kids but trying. I realize i am super late to this post!
