Do You Like Audio Books?
I've tried and I've tried, but I just can't seem to pay attention to audio books. I've tried to listen to them while I'm driving and while I'm prepping for supper and while I'm cleaning the house. But my mind just wonders elsewhere. I have to be looking at the words to focus on what's going on. What do you think about them?

When I get to that place you described- I have to turn it off. Even if the book/narrator is great, my mind wanders eaily.
We drove to visit the inlaws this summer. One way is 11 hours. It took us both ways to listen to one 7-hour audio book.
With that being said- I love them at work.

I find that sine i read so slowly lately, and I tend to pick big books to read, audiobooks help me get in a lot of the popular fiction that I tend to feel like I'm missing out on. I also like them for classics that I really want to read, but sometimes find that the language makes them a bit tedious to read.

I love them and listen to them every day. I can't just listen to music anymore. If it's not a great audiobook, it's going to be harder for me to pay attention. If it's a good one, I won't be able to stop listening.
You need to find a good one!
