  • Yes!  Good idea.  I'll post after tonight's workout.  

    I SO wish I was one of those people who could get up at 5:30 before work and sweat it out, but I'm more like Linda Blair in The Exorcist until around 9:00 am, lol.

  • I walked yesterday.  I don't know if i'll count it towards my 4 work outs because it was with my mom and dad, and it was slow and we stopped a few times for my mom... but I'm so proud of her!  First time in months she's been able to walk more than around the house!

    Frank - I get up at 5am just to get to work... no way I can get up any earlier!  I do get a walk in with the dog in the mornings (1/3 mile).

  • I'm going to the mall tonight to do some shopping for my Vegas trip at the end of the month.  I'll do a lot of walking.  Hoping to be back in full-blown gym mode next week!  I really miss the gym, it's been weeks since I've been able to go!
  • Ah man, I wish I could join in on this but I won't be cleared to work out for another three weeks :(

    Please keep this going!  I think it will really help everyone out :)

  • I am game.  I am not sure if we will make it to the gym tonight.  If we don't, I want to take a walk around the neighborhood just to get something in.

  • I was planning to take a Pilates class after work today but I was so fried with my classroom being as disorganized as it is, I came home and ate a ton of bread.

    The only set in stone plan that I have is a flying trapeze class on Thursday.  I hope to get to the gym tomorrow and Wednesday for cardio.  I may go to happy hour Friday.  If I don't, I plan a third cardio day.  I will update as I am hopefully successful.

    umm...wish I could share this sentiment. haha.

    I went to physical therapy this afternoon which is an hour long. It's not cardio, but it's active exercise! Afterwards I had 15ish minutes of cardio dance flash-mob training. I got my 10,000 steps in for the day, so I'd say decent even though I didn't have a dedicated work-out time.

  • Trapeze and flash-mob classes!?!?!  I am so jealous.  We don't have anything cool like that around here.

    I was bad last night and didn't go to the gym.  I did play some basketball and ping pong though so I did move around.  :)

  • I was bad too, but I was in gym clothes driving from work to gym, when my tummy got upset. 

    BUT I'm walking 2 miles at lunch today - YAY!

  • Haha it's usually just a normal cardio dance class, but we are doing a flash mob at the breast cancer 5k, race for the cure!

  • @Cathyl7910 I know you're in NY but I don't know how far from NYC.  My trapeze school is in NYC but they are closing down for the season in mid October.  If you want to take a class with a buddy, I am always up to "fly through the air with the greatest of ease" :)

    I'm so jealous I'm not in NYC, I would soooo do this!
  • Tuesday and Wedneday I walked at lunch.  I used the google pedometer and one path is 2.25 miles and the other is 2.5 miles.  It's nice to do it and not be a sweaty mess when I get back to my desk!

    Tonight I'm going to Zumba with my one CW - YAY!  I do better when someone goes with me and I can't crap out last minute haha.

  • I was bad on Monday and Tuesday, but I did go to the gym last night. I'll need to go today and tomorrow to get in the right number of workouts for the week, because I can't go this weekend. Someone yell at me if I try to slack off!

  • I haven't been good :( Hopefully Saturday morning. This has been a rough week for me personally and professionally so I've been drained emotionally and felt like crap on top of it. I had physical therapy Monday and today. Today's wasn't as active as usual because my knee was having a rough day :-/

  • I did go to the gym last night, and had a really good run. I'm doing Couch to 5k and it's working really well for me because it's so easy to see progress. It's cool to think that I'm getting faster. :) Now if I can just get in a repeat performance tonight. ..

  • I worked out 2X this week, doing cardio at home (On Demand has some really neat free workout videos).  I'm so sick of being out of shape, cardio-wise, I can't wait to get back in the swing.  I was a swimmer for 10 years year-round and I'd love to get back into that shape.

  • I'm starting to feel so much better.  I haven't hit the gym but did go on a 15 minute walk yesterday. 

    Hoping next week I'll get to go back to the gym a couple days.  Going to Vegas next weekend so I gotta try to look hot!

  • Went to Zumba last night and I felt like death. Omg so out of shape and things were jiggling more that before. But it was fun and something I want to add to weekly!

    H is stuck in VA tonight so my pup and I might go for a walk around the park!
