AW: Marathon Relay
Yesterday a group of us ran in the local Marathon. We did a relay team for it, and had the 26.2 miles split amongst the 5 of us. It was a blast! My leg of the race was 5.5 miles, and I wanted to be under 60 minutes. My ultimate goal was to be at 50 minutes, but I knew that was a pretty far fetched goal. I came in at 58:31. Still not too shabby. Our team as a whole came in at 4 hours and 28 minutes with an average pace of 10:15 minute miles.
Of course, now I have the "running fever" again, and am contemplating running in a half in November.
