I posted a couple of weeks ago about how I had started smoking again some evenings this summer, and that it had become a problem etc etc?
Well, I decided that day that it was just stupid and that I just needed to just STOP. It's been a week and a half now, which I know isn't that much time, BUT... I was at a party on Saturday night and then went out for dinner with some girlfriends last night, both events included alcohol and other smokers, and I DIDN'T LIGHT UP! It was a bit of a struggle but I kept thinking about how much I'd regret it later and was able to avoid it.
I'm hopeful this means that if I can do it now, when it's fresh, it will get easier again as time goes on.
