Where are you in your cycle? CD 28.
Any plans for testing this week or did you test last week? No and no.
Have you done anything different or plan to this cycle? Nope, just chillin' until my appointment.
Any goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? I'm just waiting to get started on this 3T part of the journey. My appointment is on Monday and I'm nervous/excited about it.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? A non-TTC question if anyone sews/has knowledge about it: can I alter the waistband of an elastic skirt? It's a tad tight and I want it altered instead of buying a different skirt.
QOTD: What are your thought regarding TTC and coffee/tea intake? I don't drink more than a cup of coffee a day, so I don't think it's harmful to do that, but I haven't researched it to know better.
CBHQ: Cloth or disposable diapers? Disposable. I'm lazy.
QOTD: Do you drink alcohol during your TWW? Yup. I know I shouldn't but I do anyways. It's only drink or two at most every few days though.

Any plans for testing this week or did you test last week (since I missed this question)? Been using OPKs for the past week; finally got a + this morning!!!
Have you done anything different or plan to this cycle? Not really; religiously checking OPKs every morning and sharing info with DH for the first time, since I told him we'd be taking something of a break over the winter months and really wanted to try to nail our timing this cycle/maybe next cycle.
Any goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? DH turned in his sample for his SA yesterday morning. I'm super nervous to get the results. And I'm just glad I'm finally going to O in the next day or so!

QOTD: What are your thoughts regarding TTC and coffee/tea intake? I have continued to drink coffee and tea. In the last several months, I went down to half-caf for my morning coffee, and I typically drink green tea, which has a low caffeine content anyway. My morning coffee this week/last week has been almost entirely decaf though (just didn't have my regular caffeinated to mix together with it). I believe <16 oz of coffee or a caffeinated beverage with a similar caffeine content per day is considered pretty much totally fine during TTC/pregnancy.
CBHQ: Cloth or disposable diapers? I fully intend to go cloth. My sister has been cloth all the way, and when I was visiting in July and hung out with my niece while she and BIL had to work, I got to experience changing cloth diapers firsthand. Granted, I was using all-in-ones/twos for the sake of ease, but I watched my sister every time she changed my niece's diaper, and I definitely feel better about going that route.
QOTD: Do you drink alcohol during your TWW? If there's something special going on, then yes, I'll have a glass, 2 at most, and only wine or beer. If I'm in my tww and I just want a glass of wine or beer sitting at home at night, I'll try to forgo it.

Have you done anything different or plan to this cycle? I haven't been temping, I did try charting CM(i'm a bad judge of CM), my digi OPK broke so I was trying to read the pee strips but gave up by CD15. DH keeps asking me if I O'd and I keep reminding him I'm not paying attention this cycle.
ANy goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? Every one keeps asking if I'm "concerned" it's been 10 months of trying. It's starting to get very annoying.

QOTD: What are your thought regarding TTC and coffee/tea intake? I have read that you should limit your intake but I still have to have my 2 cups a day. Around O time and during TWW I don't exceed 2 cups ever.
CBHQ: Cloth or disposable diapers? I will only use disposable. I can't even think about washing cloth diapers!
QOTD: Do you drink alcohol during your TWW? Once is a blue moon. I rarely drink to begin with but I won't decline a glass of wine since I so rarely do drink.

How many months/cyles have you been TTC? 7 months / 3rd cycle
Where are you in your cycle? 11DPO
ANy plans for testing this week or did you test last week (since I missed this question)? I plan to test Saturday morning, because we have a wedding that night.
Have you done anything different or plan to this cycle? First round of Clomid, and it made me ovulate. So that's good.
ANy goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? Had an appointment this morning with my OB, and he is hopeful that we can conceive on clomid (given there are no MFI). So he prescribed me another dose of 50mg, and I'm to start it whenever we're ready. Which may be 3-6 months, because H isn't on board with doing another medicated cycle for a long time. The Dr explained that he would like me to do the 2nd round in 3 months then, so I'm not going a long time without a period again. But we'll see. After the 2nd round of Clomid, if that doesn't take, then we'll be doing the SA and HSG. At that point I may decide to switch to an RE also, but I haven't made that decision yet, and I have a while before I will need to.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? Just ramblings. I called H after the appointment and explained to him what all the Dr said, and what our next options and steps are. I told him about the SA and HSG, and his response was, "pass." Um, honey, I'm not excited about them either, but unfortunately we can't conceive like a normal couple. It isn't just having unprotected sex for us to conceive. His response was "I know, and it hurts."
This is the first response like that, that I've ever gotten out of him. Otherwise he will just say that he wants to just try naturally, and avoids any discussions about treatments.
Needless to say I cried the hour drive back to the office.
QOTD: What are your thought regarding TTC and coffee/tea intake? I drink it still. Coffee is my vice, and I love iced tea. Although I do drink green tea prior to O, and will usually do decaf coffee at home.
CBHQ: Cloth or disposable diapers? I like the idea of cloth, but the logistics probably won't work for us. If we decide to have my mom and grandma take care of the baby for the first year, then I will likely go cloth. If we're going to do daycare after 6 weeks, then I will go disposable.
QOTD: Do you drink alcohol during your TWW? I limit it. Granted, this is the 2nd time I've had a TWW. But I've only had 1 beer, and I might have a glass of wine tonight at dinner with the IL's.

ANy plans for testing this week or did you test last week (since I missed this question)? Does blood test count? Cause I am waiting for my progestrone results call now.
Have you done anything different or plan to this cycle? Took 100mg clomid with no luck. Will be starting Provera and then 150 clomid next per my RE.
ANy goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? Bads: not ovulating, I wanna ovulate dammit! Goods: I finally found string light clips so DH and I can finish putting up our Halloween decorations!

QOTD: What are your thought regarding TTC and coffee/tea intake? I cut back on my caffeine intake a lot, but I was drinking a TON of it. I think as long as you're not drinking like 100 oz a day (like I was) you're good!
CBHQ: Cloth or disposable diapers? I want to say cloth, but if think this is a decision DH and I will make if I get KU.

@brij2006, I ditto what was said about getting an HSG. My doctor explained it to me that he wouldn't want to waste cycles of Clomid if "the bridge is out" and the sperm can't even get to the egg. That's my plan anyways (to get an HSG before starting Clomid).
@islandmonkey8, I hope you and your doctor can figure out what's going on and that you start O'ing soon! I know that is so frustrating.

I am a little anxious about what could be wrong because I've never been diagnosed with anything even though I've had cysts before and I have a family history of endometriosis.
@islandmonkey8 Good luck with the test, and with the 150mg of Clomid. Hopefully that will do the trick for you!

Not having the HSG done yet, is exactly why I want to move over to an RE for this next time around. Also, that my OB doesn't do much monitoring while I'm on Clomid, and that scares the hell out of me. We will likely call the RE whenever H is on board with more testing and treatments, then go from there. But he's expressed that if we're switching Dr's, then he doesn't want to move forward until having a child is his highest priority. Which could be 6 months, or it could be 3 years. Heck if I know. To where, if we stay with the current OB, he said he's fine with another round of Clomid after 3-6 months.
Ugh, men.

@brij2006 - I'm with lucky, I thought you were going to get the HSG done to make sure all was clear before doing another round of clomid? I think that might be a wise thing to do, especially since your H doesn't want to start the second round ASAP anyway. ETA: I just saw your update. I'm sorry. I still hope your H comes around in time. (hugs)

Tell me what kind of sense that makes. HE can't manage he damn store but he can train the new manager to run it? Whhhhhaaaat?? and Ninna starts chemo on October 7th. She seems to be in good spirits about all of this, so hopefully that continues.

Sometimes I get an iced coffee from McD's (like if I work a Saturday morning, and that's few and far between.) but yeah you're going to have to pry my diet icy tea out of my cold, dead hands. Sorry future kids. lol
CBHQ: Cloth or disposable diapers? I'd love to do cloth, at least at home. I've been using fleece and towels in my guinea pig cage for the last 5-6 years, and it's kind of the same principle. Why the hell not?
QOTD: Do you drink alcohol during your TWW? I did last time... I don't think I'd get WGW during the 2WW but I definitely would drink a beer or two. That said, I'm not a huge drinker anyway, but if it just so happened to be during that time, I wouldn't deny myself. :shrugs:
@brij2006, I hope your H gets on board soon so you can move on to the RE. I'm not exactly sure how much monitoring I'll be getting on Clomid either so that makes me a little nervous. My doctor said that as long as we would have ST EOD from like CD 12-20 we should hit our fertile time but that scares me too.

oh, @sewilson33, how are you doing this cycle without temping? Is it the relaxing free-for-all that I'm imagining or is "omg did I O?" in the back of your mind the whole time? As much of a PITA as it is to temp, I think (for me, anyway) that NOT temping would be even more of a PITA. :-P in any regard, FX for you this cycle!

Have you done anything different or plan to this cycle? Started using a fertility monitor. Not because I think I necessarily need it, but I want to give it time to "learn" my body in case we have no luck in the next few months.
Any goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? It's been a pretty rough week, life-wise, but all else is pretty good.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? I think it's odd that my monitor showed 3 bars (the max) on CD13, 2 bars on CD15, and 1 bar CD16. I know the days are adding up right; I just didn't think it would drop so quickly.

QOTD: Do you drink alcohol during your TWW? Yes. Not excessively, but (and I might get flamed for this) I figure if women can not know they're pregnant and smoke/drink during their whole pregnancy without it affecting the baby, a glass or two of wine isn't going to make a difference.

@sewilson33, I took a few cycles off from temping. It was nice not having the added stress but ultimately my cycles were too irregular and I never had a clue of what was going on. So I went back to temping. Not temping this cycle but I wish I was because now I have no idea if I O'ed or not!
I hope you ladies don't mind that I posted here in this thread. I just wanted to check in and offer support!
