I just started running again after taking a year off due to injury and then pregnancy. I started back running a few weeks ago, and I totally suck at it right now. I ran some hills in my neighborhood today and I felt like I was running in slow motion. I knew I was out of shape but DANG it's bad. I was so eager to get back to running that I signed up for a 10K at the end of October, and now I'm not sure if I am going to be able to run it. :-/

I'm so fucking annoyed. I get an email from a coworker that needs payment for a project. I get to his station and he tells me he's too busy today. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm sorry? You're too busy? My time isn't important? I carved out a few minutes for you today, you should do the same. Or, you know, tell me in advance that tomorrow would be best so I don't stop what I'm doing for you. So many people have no respect for other people's time here. DRIVES ME NUTS.

You can do it!!!! Just keep it up! The hardest thing is to run that first time, the second hardest thing is to run a second time. It will get easier!!!

You can do it! When I attempted to start running before I got pregnant, I thought I was going to have to call DH one time because I was sitting on a corner, about to pass out. It was awful. Luckily I have a personal trainer who is also my brother so he got me a track. I've logged close to 200 miles this year already! You've got this!

Have you not heard Jacki's mantra? Never do during naptime what you can do while the kids are awake. Or something like that. Right @jackiback?

UPDATE: Never mind. I just realized the middle one is Jessica Lange and that's the upcoming American Horror Story. I could tell they were witches but I wasn't putting it all together. Last season lost me (too gory, not enough psychological scaring), but I loved the first season and am going to try again with season 3.
