  • Honestly, I've been in both places and not in the normal order. I get it. It is hard to be a part of conversations without there being the "elephant in the room." The second you are pregnant, you aren't infertile anymore. It changes things. You can offer support, but it's different. It is being sympathetic, but not understanding. I mean, even if you had a battle to get pregnant, that changes the second the second line shows up. It's just different. Bruins has done a really good job, as did caseyandlizzie, mrads, thedeatons, and probably others who I am forgetting. But that isn't the norm. I love it when grads stick around. But I do understand the hesitancy.
Oh, yes, I forgot @mrads.  Another one to teach the BFP etiquette course. :)

  • I still participate in CPW and on posts where appropriate, but I do have some hesitancy as well. I don't ever want to hurt those still on their TTC and/or IF battles. I want to be supportive but don't want to come across insensitive either.... Or my ticker to be hurtful etc. Also, apparently my SN wasn't anonymous enough. Much of my quietness lately stems from being discovered IRL, not a BFP.
Congrats to my TTC buddy Madeline! Cheering for all the strong 3T ladies!

  • I agree with many on the hesitancy to post but like @AshleyMatt I do check out the board daily. Some things I just don't have much of an opinion on and other times I'll see a post and want to comment but I'm at work and my next client has shown up. I'd love to start posting on here again and it appears that no one has issues with it so I'll jump back in again.

  • *butts in* FWIW there is an option to hide all signatures, if you go to 'preferences' then 'signature settings'. Could be a solution if you don't want to see BR/PR signatures :) Also, I hope this means we get to see some GP graduates back here now that there 's been this honest dialogue! You ladies are awesome. *butts out*
