  • I'm nesting while at work. And not just at work, I'm on the phone with a support agent. It's been 45 minutes and I got bored! I've memorized the hold music...

  • Let's see....

I love having people over for game night, but then when they are still there at 2 am and I am sleepy and ready for bed I get cranky that they don't take my hints and leave.  If I've washed every dish, put away all the snacks and turned down the music it means get out.  Yes I am elderly.  Get off my lawn!

I really do sit in the living room and get pissed if people walk across the lawn.  It's so disrespectful.

I'm in a weird headspace right now. I met with my obgyn this morning, and assuming that I don't get pg this cycle (which I'm sure won't happen because of bad timing and probably not even O'ing), I'll go in for CD3 bloodwork and then get on the road for an HSG and SA. I don't know why this is bothering me, but I guess it's something I've never done before.

Boy Meets World is the best.

Ditto! My BFF and I have a marathon weekend every winter, and try to get through as many seasons as we can.

Also, @luckangel07 I'm also going to ditto's Bruins' response about yogurt. I found that even half of a container per day helped keep them away.

My random of the day is that I'm sitting here at work trying to think of ideas for our town's Fall Festival, instead of actually getting my work done.

Thanks! I typically do eat a yogurt every day. And while I don't think I've been particularly susceptible to them in the past, I did skip a few yogurts last week (just wasn't hungry when snack time rolled around). I'm expecting the OTC meds I just picked up to kill it in no time!

(Yes, I have a snack time! A self-imposed afternoon snack time, because normally if I don't eat something then I'm completely starving by the time I get home. :P)

Also in the realm of awesomeness, my coworker just sent me an e-mail with the announcement and pictures of her new grandson. It's great for her (first-time grandmom) and her son, but I'm trying to keep babies OFF my brain during my 2ww!

  • I'm in a crazy headspace right now. I met with my obgyn this morning, and assuming that I don't get pg this cycle (which I'm sure won't happen because of bad timing and possibly not O'ing), I'll go in for CD3 bloodwork and then get on the road for an HSG and SA. It's a tough to come to terms with the fact that you might need intervention when it seems like so many people just look at each other and get KU.  It's scary, and it takes time to get used to for sure.  <3

Ditto everything seashorse said. It sucks to face IF testing when everyone else seems to have it so easy. ((hugs))

And @Seahorse01, hand tremors would be freaking me out too, known side effect or not! However, it's got to be a huge relief not to be getting migraines. I haven't had to deal with any myself recently (and don't get them often enough to require prophylactic meds), but they are awful!! I hope the tremors either start happening less as your body adjusts to the meds or your doc can help do something about them.

<3 thank you. It's hard to tell what I'm supposed to be feeling right now though, as sometimes I feel I shouldn't be disappointed(?) about this when others here have had much more heartache than I have.

Also, I'm sorry that you're having bad side effects from your meds. :(

  • I think I live beside the noisiest neighbors in the world. They have campfires quite often, especially on Sunday nights, and blast music really loud. They are always doing something outside, whether it's working on a car or running a piece of machinery. Right now they are running a pressure washer and working on the son's car at the same time. I guess it could be worse but it's really annoying.

If they're doing things like that or causing excessive amounts of noise after 9 or 10 at night, I'd go over and ask them to stop. If they don't, you can call the police and file a noise complaint (heck, you can call the police without even talking to them, but it's up to you how you'd want to proceed there).

I've been doing mold removal at work, which means wearing Tyvek coveralls. I bent down to pick something up and ripped a hole in the crotch... which then meant changing into new coveralls. Luckily my coworker didn't laugh at me, it was pretty embarassing.

  • One more- the medication that I am taking to prevent migraines has been working really well for the most part (I've only had one since I started taking it), but it is giving me hand tremors.  When I told my dr she said that was a known side effect and is no big deal.  It's really freaking me out.

Ack! That's so freaky. I hope it goes away soon.

  • @LuckyAngel07 hope you can kick the YI soon! Those things are the worst (second to bladder infections, IMO). Vaganus are not great to have sometimes.
    @islandmonkey8 I'm sorry you had a rough night :(
@sweetpotato123 I hope this means good things for you!
@Sewilson33 I'm sorry you had a fight, but I'm glad that instead of getting worse your H feels bad about the yelling. Usually when we escalate to yelling, one of us will come back with a tail between the legs too... ah, marital bliss.
