How many weeks are you? 6w3d
When is your EDD? May 23, 2014
How are you feeling? A little tired. Some occasional heartburn. Pukey last Friday. Boobs are sore.
What are you craving? Spicy foods.
What is grossing you out? The smell of Coffee, cooking onions, and maple syrup yuck
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? DH is buying the baby a book every week. And I broke down and got a pair of maternity jeans today. I am just not liking my regular jeans putting pressure on my bloat.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? U/S on Wednesday to see if we see a heartbeat!
Have you / will you found out the sex? We will totally find out.
Any names picked out? We have two girl names and one boy name. I'm not too wild on the boy name but its the only one DH and I can agree on right now.
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? We have some ideas but nothing set in stone. If its a boy DH is convinced that we will do the Bat Cave with a Batman symbol above the crib.

Best Part of the week-We went to a big Mexican party on Saturday. It was the girl's 15th bday and they do a church part and then a big party like a wedding. My 17yo brother was in the dances and my mom and I helped set up. Ava Nichol had so much fun dancing and ate a whole plate of beans. She slept so good that night.
Worst part of the week-I got my flu shot Friday and my arm hurt so bad all weekend and I got a really bad headache. Ava Nichol got her shots today
Milestones-It isn't really a milestone but she is officially 18 months! She is learning so fast and has so many words. She says I did it and you did it which just blows my mind. She is starting to remember things you tell her. She is learning which shapes go in which hole on the box of shapes.

Best Part of the week- Meeting my little man. He constantly makes me smile and I'm so lucky to have him. Also, a c-section wasn't what I was hoping for, but we really did have a great experience and the extra day in the hospital allowed me to start feeling more normal and helped me get used to my new sleep schedule.
Worst part of the week- That maniacal feeling I had the first night at home. I was nervous to sleep and made myself crazy with worry. Last night was much better! Also, my mil has become a crazy person since her first grandson was born and it's got me worried about how things going forward are going to be.
Milestones- we went to the pedi for the first time yesterday. We noticed he had a wet diaper so we decided to change him while we waited for the dr to come in and he took that opportunity to do his best fountain impression and peed everywhere. I was laughing so hard, but so embarrassed that I wasn't paying attention. We cleaned up as best we could, but the crinkly exam paper was pretty much soaked.

Best part of your week?
Last night I found out that my cousin and his wife are 6 weeks pregnant. They have tried for years and struggled with something. (I don't know what, I never asked because I thought it would have been rude since they never talked about it) I am so happy for them and now Isis will have a cousin close in age.
Worst part of your week?
I got a dam parking ticket yesterday. I guess I was parked in two spaces but if the dummy parked behind me would have parked right none of us would have gotten tickets.
Milestones?
We have a routine now. She falls asleep in h crib until 3am then wakes up hungry. I'll feed her and change her diaper then she falls asleep until about 6am. She's really good at not crying at night.
PIP those kiddos!
MIL got her this outfit when we first found out that I was having a little girl. It's cold here so she won't be able to wear it outside the house but we wanted to show grandma we did like it.

Best part of your week? Getting everything finalized for selling/buying our house. M being an incredibly happy baby and her laughs.
Worst part of your week? I'm so behind at work and have no motivation to do anything other than be present during sessions. Also the process of packing to move and then unpacking seems daunting.
Milestones? M is 6 monthd today! It's gone so fast and is bittersweet. My snuggly baby has gone away and now she's fiesty and independent. She also sits all on her own and can get up on all fours to rock. Soon she'll be very mobile.
