WIAR: Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan (ns)
Ok, I RAVED about Unspoken last year and begged you all to read it, but I think like only 2 of you did. Well, the sequel came out last week and I just started reading it. UGH. I love these characters so much!
Kami, the main character, is everything a strong female character should be. She's tough and smart, she doesn't take no for an answer, she doesn't stand for anyone treating her or her friends badly. BUT she's also funny as hell and has emotions. She cries, she feels vulnerable, she feels scared. She doesn't have to be a robot to be tough, and I love that.
And these characters, Kami and Jared, UGH THEY KILL ME. I don't want to spoil anything that happens in book 1, but I am having so many feelings about these two. When I was reading last night, I had to keep putting down the book and taking a break because they were killing me with feels.
It's about magic and stuff...whatever. I don't really care about that. I just love the humor (seriously, so funny), the characters, and all the feelings.
I'm not done yet, but I'm sure the end of this one will gut me just like the end of the 1st one did.

I looked at the bottom of the page, and said, "Nope. No. No way." Then I closed it and stared at it sitting on my lap and just shook my head at it.
I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN HANDLE THE END OF THIS BOOK. Sarah Rees Brennan is a monster. (I mean that in the best way possible.)
