Ten Things Tuesday!

Re: Ten Things Tuesday!

  • 1. I am watching an Awkward marathon on my DVR. I'm not even ashamed.
    2. All my grading is done, and I don't know what to do with myself.
    3. I'm halfway through The Book Thief, and I'm loving it. I am a little nervous about how it will be translated to screen.
    4. DH is LOVING his new job. Hooray! He was so cute last night when he came home. He was talking a mile a minute about it.
    5. I'm alone for dinner tonight because he has a dinner in the city to go to, and I'm thinking about eating an entire frozen pizza. Oops.
    6. The office I had my consult in reminded me of Dolores Umbridge's office, minus the cats, plus old lady flowers.
    7. I'm feeling really judgmental about a family situation, but I'm not going to say anything about it...
    8. I am really excited about the person I have for NSA.

    I have nothing else.
TTC #1 since Feb. '12. dx: "unexplained" IF

  • @PandPMeant2Be and LuckyAngel07  I had to go to the shelter today because I was helping a friend look for her lost dog (FOUND) and I wanted to cry, puke, and punch people at the same time because there were SOOOO many people just dropping their dogs and cats off like "whatever".  I could go into more detail but I'm still really upset about it.  I hope your kitty is just sick and gets better soon. Vet asap! :-)

  • ecinereb how were they? I'm so tempted to try gluten free things.
Nothing gluten free is the same as regular but these weren't too bad. I'm gluten free on the advice of my acu but I think the trend of eating it's over-rated unless medically neccessary. GF products are actually usually worse for you (cal, fat etc).

First of all, I'm so glad your friend's dog was found! Second of all, that makes me sick too and I had to remind DH we are NOT those type of people! Apparently, she has been doing this pretty much since he got her and I just didn't know about it until recently. According to DH, she often went right outside the box, but it was usually only when the litter needed to be changed. He started changing it more often and that helped, but now she's worse, even though he changes it almost daily.  So we can probably rule out illness, but will take her to get checked anyway. We made a few small changes (moved the box to where she is going and adjusted the amount of litter in the box), so we'll see if that helps.  We will also add another box and hopefully the other two cats will stay out of it. We'll see.
