WIFJR: Maus by Art Spiegelman

This is my second time reading the series.  Basically, it's a graphic novel about the Holocaust where the Jews are mice, the Nazis are cats, etc.  It won a Pulitzer and is an amazing story told in a really creative way.  I picked it up again for my book club this month, and I've fallen in love all over again.

  • I need to buy this series. I read it when I was younger and loved it, it's definitely time for a reread and it's definitely something I want to own.

  • SUCH a great series!  I heard Art Spiegelman speak at a conference when I was in grad school and he was fascinating.  Somewhere in my grad school stuff, I have a signed copy of the first book :D

    Oh my gosh, so good!

There is a book about these books (making of, thought process etc) that is really great, although I have no idea what it is called.

Edited to add: It's called MetaMaus.

@jackiback - I actually bought it a while back when I had a gift card to spend.  It's basically the coolest book ever.
