Any goods or bad this week in regards to life or TTC? Just the dreaded 2ww. I'm also starting to get worried since next month will be a year or TTC. Just trying to be positive right now, and ride the rest of the year out. DH and I agreed that I would go to see the doctor in January if I'm still not pregnant.Also, getting really excited about our trip. Anyone gone to Maui? Suggestions on places to go? I need to start planning outfits!

QOTD: If you could change anything about your life right now, what would it be? (Besides the obvious, "baby" answer) I would make my coworkers more competent. Move closer to family. Actually, like if pretty good right now. I can't complain!
CBHQ: Would you do a gender specific nursery theme? I don't know. I'm still not sure if I want to find out the sex yet. I probably will since we rent, and we will not have future babies where we are currently living. I would love to make this baby feel special since future babies will probably be in a home that we own.

How many months/cycles have you been TTC? 1 month/1cycle

Were are you in your cycle? expecting AF next week, but I haven't been too diligent with charting on FF
Have you done anything different or plan to? DH and I decided to wait through the holidays to see what happens. Then maybe in Jan. I'll start temping/charting.
Any plans for testing? Debating on testing this weekend or waiting until next week to see if AF shows up. I've been a little antsy since I went off BCP. (I also know that our changes are only 20% each month, so I'm trying to be realistic at the same time).
Any goods or bad this week in regards to life or TTC? Life-wise.. we're actually to fixing some weeping walls in the downstairs of our house (we're in a bi-level, so we're about a foot underground). This has been something we've been waiting to do since moving in and have just been putting it off. I guess that's good and bad. Bad that we have to do it in the first place, but good that we're taking care of it. Then we can install our lovely new flooring!
Thoughts, questions, concerns? How long do you wait before testing?? I coming of BCP (ended mid-Sept.) and don't know how long I should actually wait... Based on my cycles while on BCP, I should get AF next week sometime (Monday-ish). Charting probably would've helped my situation, but we're trying to just enjoy for now and not stress too much.

Any goods or bad this week in regards to life or TTC? It's more of an annoyance, my boss has this ability to know when someone is PG or will be expecting soon. She told my BIL that he is going to be expecting soon and that my sister will probably be in January. My SIL told me there is no way it's her but it's just annoying that EVERYONE around me seems to be on the verge of babeis but me.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? I told DH he needs to call his physician to get a script for a SA. He seemed to brush it off bc I know he doesn't want to make that call... I hate that he won't just get the damn thing done so we can move on with our life.
QOTD: If you could change anything about your life right now, what would it be? (Besides the obvious, "baby" answer) Out of everything I want to change, I would want to be teaching rather than doing accounting.
CBHQ: Would you do a gender specific nursery theme? I would love to do a nautical theme for either gender but I would not be doing any sort of pink/purple/blue rooms.

@lauraj023 -- if you don't see your period by 60 days, definitely call your doctor. Besides that I'd probably wait a calendar month from the beginning of your last period (the first off BCP, right?) and if no AF, take a HPT. That's what I would do anyway. Hope this helps some! GL to you!

Have you done anything different or plan to? We're actually having sex! holy cow! lol. I'm SO not complaining and I'm enjoying having an extra spring in my step. I have *NO* idea why or what changed in H's head but I AIN'T COMPLAINING!!
Any plans for testing? Just OPK's. Still nothing even close enough to pull out the digi's I bought last month for, lol.

H and I both agreed the other day that we would be in our new house already! You know, the one that we haven't even finalized the plans on? yeah.

I don't think so. I tend to prefer gender neutral stuff.
After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,
Clomid/IUI #1 3/14: cancelled due to surprise BFP 3/8/14.

Any goods or bad this week in regards to life or TTC? I'm excited to go NJ this weekend for my best friend's baby shower. Also excited that since I'll be home I can do the ACS breast cancer walk with my mom. We did it together every year until I moved away. She was so excited that DH, SS, and I could come that she got us all team t shirts (she is a team leader for her company) and pink shoelaces; she's so cute!

(Besides the obvious, "baby" answer) I wish DH's ex wife would fall in love with someone and move across the country to live with him, leaving SS with us... just like she did years ago, only she would stay away for good this time. That, or she would just start acting like a mature adult.
CBHQ: Would you do a gender specific nursery theme? If we decided to find out the gender, possibly, but only in terms of color. I hate yellow and green, ducks and frogs, and most gender-neutral stuff, so it's probably better if we do find out lol. I don't like a lot of things that are really baby-ish, so my child's nursery will probably have skulls (with bows, of course, for a girl) or something rock 'n roll.

CBHQ: Would you do a gender specific nursery theme? I don't think we will. I don't know if I'll even want a clear theme. I like the idea of being able to put up items just because I like them instead of whether or not they'll fit the theme.

Probably. We are doing a hunting/woodsy for a boy and haven't thought about a girl yet.
My Ovulation Chart
This happened to my dog when I was in college. When it happened, there is not much a vet can do at all unfortunately.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? Ladies who have been doing this longer, how do you stay positive? I know we're only 10 months in, but with even the Clomid not helping me O I can't seem to stay positive.

Have you done anything different or plan to? Since I'm still fairly new to TTC, we haven't tried anything yet, but I think I want to start using OPK's next cycle to start charting better.
Any plans for testing? Hopefully not
Any goods or bad this week in regards to life or TTC? I thought around CD8 that I may have some ovulation symptoms and I got super excited and I've been feeling off for the past five days (headaches, sore muscles in my abdomen, backaches) so I was a little hopeful that maybe it had happened, but I've done the internet dip strips for the past three days, all BFN (not even a hint of a line) so I'm a little bleh because of that. My DH is trying to perk me up by saying it's still early and you never know.

QOTD: If you could change anything about your life right now, what would it be? (Besides the obvious, "baby" answer) I wish I had a career in the field that I was actually studying for (school psychology) versus the career that was of convenience and I've stuck with (banking operations).
CBHQ: Would you do a gender specific nursery theme? I have so many ideas for both sexes (pink with dots for a girl or ocean/sea theme for boy are the ones that stand out right now).

Steph, I have a b.s. Is psych and have never actually worked In that field. I made too much in my career already (ophthalmic tech) I would have had to take a pay cut, start from the bottom and work my way up to that pay grade over like 5-7 years. It was disappointing. If you really like psych and want to make more than like $15 an hour I'd recommend continuing on to your masters (if you weren't already). Just my un-asked for two cents that I wish someone had told me back in the day. Sorry if that's too much.
Thank you. This is my third round of clomid, first at 150, and all have been TI. But I haven't O'd and have no signs of Oing this cycle either as of today. If this round fails I will have an appt with my RE to discuss the next steps (femara, injects, or IUI or whatever). The extent of me trying yoga was on WiiFit. I liked it, but I have no motivation. Maybe I'll try again and buy a better DVD or something for it.
DH and I just keep counting the days til our Disney vacation. That is what keeps us both most positive... 23 days! Lol

Any goods or bad this week in regards to life or TTC? Our puppy Bailey is starting to get the hang of this separation anxiety thing. She's a rescue we adopted 2 weeks ago and this has been the longest 2 weeks ever, but we are making progress and we will continue to work with her. On the TTC end, fingers crossed husband has overcome the stage freight he developed once we officially started to TTC.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? I'm tired. I can't wait for our first Halloween with Trick or Treaters now that we are in our own house in a neighborhood. :-)

(Besides the obvious, "baby" answer) Miss Bailey (puppy) would sleep and not cry when we leave her for work or to run to the store. She's a little attached to Mommy right now and we need to break her of always having to be on me.
CBHQ: Would you do a gender specific nursery theme? Our house came with a pink baby's room, so we've decided to keep the room for now and wait to see what happens. It is freshly painted (within the last year or so) and has a beautiful mural on the wall, so we don't want to cover it especially if we have a baby girl. If we have a boy first, he will go in the identical front room that is currently painted white.
