  • The Innocent by Harlan Coben. I'm loving it. I think this might be the beginning of a Harlan Coben binge for me. I don't think it fits in any challenges, so it's just for fun. I think it's #26/30 for the year.

  • I am going to finish Lover Eternal today.  I am loving this series so much and I want to rush into the third book right away but I am going to make myself read something in between them.  I also just started Meet Me in Venice but I'm only on the second chapter so I don't really have an opinion yet.

  • reading the Book Thief. It's ok so far, but it hasn't captivated my attention yet. Listening to The 19th Wife. It's very interesting especially if you are fascinated by polygamy, which I am.
  • I'm in an inbetween space right now.  I finished The Firey Cross (#48) last night, I plan to read Free Four tonight but I don't know what to read next.  Something quick so I can be available to read Allegiant next week.  I may do a poll.

    I'm also listening to Divergent.

  • I'm listening to Reconstructing Amelia - I think it might fit into the school category for FBC

I'm reading The Eternity Cure.  It's the second in the Immortal Rules series, I flew through the first one but haven't really gotten in to this one yet.

I just stopped listening to Bitter is the New Black.  I might get back to it.  I hear that if you get through the first half, it's much better, but I'm putting it down to listen to the PNR read, Stormwalker. #59

I'll probably finish that up today, then I have Just One Year waiting for me.

I am reading Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland. It is okay. Not life-changing or anything, but that isn't why I picked it up. Totally hot MMA fighter on the cover! Sign me up and let the smut begin. ;)  I will be opening up Insurgent tonight to complete my reread before Allegiant.

  • I finished The Girl of Fire and Thorns trilogy by Rae Carson.  I think if you liked Seven Realms, you might like this trilogy.  It is a YA fantasy with a soft Hispanic kiss on the world.  It takes a lot of twists and turns and was enjoyable to follow. The covers are gorgeous.

These were somewhere around 180 for the year.  I have been reading the Malazan Book of the Fallen series, so I might pick up the second one or maybe the second Kate Daniels next.

  • I will be finishing up Days of Fire: Bush and Cheney in the White House by Peter Baker today or tomorrow.

I am also reading Last Call: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition by Daniel Okrent

    and

The Warriors (Kent Family Chronicles Book #6) by John Jakes.

    They are books #67-69

  • I'm currently without book. I just finished Me Before You (which was fantastic, but a sob-fest). I needed something light after that, so I read Rolling Dice (YA highschool drama), but it hasn't shaken me out of my post-Me Before You funk.  I'm hoping that Stormwalker, the UF/PNR read will do the trick.

SnShne322 OMG. How terrible was the ending of Double Cross?! I just sat there with my mouth hanging open.

duxcaelo  Kate Daniels is the shiz. Love that series.

  • I'm reading Some of My Best Friends Are Black: The Strange Story of Integration in America by Tanner Colby which is extremely interesting thus far.

I'm listening to The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski which I can tell is going to make me cry.  It's very beautifully written and I'm loving the description of the dogs, training, and Edgar learning sign.

These are books 45 and 46 for the year.

  • I'm reading Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.  I like it so far, but I'm not very far into it.  End of the quarter grading has sadly kept me from reading much this week.  Sigh!  These darn kids.. do they not realize that their report cards seriously interfere with my reading time?!?

It's 39/52 for the year.  I keep hoping I'm going to catch up, but I keep slipping further behind! :(

Haha. This was my second attempt at Outlander. I loved it, but i have to admit the last quarter of the book was so emotionally draining.

  • I'm a little over halfway through HP and the Order of the Phoenix. It's for the over 600 pages category, or the school setting, depending on how long Divergent is. It seems like once you start out some of them fit into several categories.

It's also #32 for the year and I'm loving it :)
