My little cousin's last home football game is tonight. He is going to play football at the Air Force Academy next year, so I won't get to see him much after he graduates.
Saturday is our HALLOWEEN PARTY! Then Sunday we're going to the pumpkin patch.
Can't wait for our "staycation" our anniversary week (10/27)...
Tomorrow DH and I are going for a couple's massage. Our Anniversary isn't until next weekend, but we are hosting a Halloween party next weekend. I thought it might be nice to give him his gift this weekend when we have time to enjoy it. We are also going to do some thrift store shopping for costume ideas. My CWs are all going as Despicable Me minions so I need to find some over-alls. Hopefully after all of that we can get some adult beverages.
Sunday I have lunch with a friend that just got back from a 5 week European vacation. I'm so jealous, but I can't wait to see her. I'm going to be green with envy when I look at her pictures...
We have a weekend full of family, which is unusual for us. We have my FIL and his wife staying with us tonight and then we drive them to his bothers tomorrow. We are then cheering on my FIL who's running the Army 10-miler on Sunday on his 80th birthday and our anniversary. We then have to spend the day with his family celebrating the birthday and anniversary. It should be fun, but really busy!
Pastor flaked on us again tonight. I think I'm going to the gym to run again, then put on my fat sweats and head to my parent's since it's my dad's bday. Or fall on the couch and not move until bed.
Tonight. ? Tomorrow: Oktoberfest then picking up our cake! Sunday: church then brunch for our anniversary in laguna Beach! Then we will probably come home and watch our video and eat cake!
H is leaving for a boys weekend this afternoon so it's just me and my pup all weekend. I plan on getting all the curtains done and hopefully some organization and cleaning.
I'm excited about next week the most though! We are finally renovating our laundry room I'll post about that project later. *Side note - you know you're an adult when you get excited about a laundry room.
Tonight I think DH and I are doing some things around the house. We have to take all of the AC units out of the windows for sure. I think that I may want to re-hang the blinds in our room too.
Saturday I think that I am going to hang around the house. DH is working and then had BIL's bachelor party in the evening. I really need to do some organizing of things. For instance our coat closet looks like a shoe store threw up in it. I am talking shoes are just thrown in there. It's really bad.
Sunday I should probably do a meal planner. I haven't done one before and I am hoping that I can stick to it.
Tonight I am going out for a girls' dinner with friends.
Tomorrow morning I hope to get to the gym for a little more running. We are going to a local store to get pumpkins since they were triple the price when we went pumpkin picking. Tomorrow night is Pippin for our anniversary! SO EXCITED!!!
Sunday we are supposed to go hiking, but we're not hikers. We don't really like the outdoors, so we're cancelling. I hope to switch my clothes from summer to winter. I only have 2 work long sleeve shirts out right now.
I'm super stoked because IT'S FALL BREAK!!! I have no students for 10 days!! Woohoo!!!!!!
Tonight we're going to pizza with H's family. I love me some free Mellow Mushroom! We haven't decided which day we're doing which, but we've planned a fun weekend. We're going to Ketner's Mill one day, which is a folk art festival. I've never been before, but I'm really excited! The other day I think we're going to buy and carve some pumpkins! We've never done it before. Then H is taking the day off Monday to spend with me. Can't wait!
