What books did you start/finish/totally neglect/make good progress on this weekend?

I read about a third of Surrender to Sultry. Loving it, of course. I think it's shaping up to be my favourite of the series.

I got through a small chunk of Eleanor and Park on audio. It's amazing. I hope to finish it on my commute to school tomorrow evening.

I am almost finished with my Insurgent reread. Hoping to have some downtime to read at work today. DH is on a week long kayaking trip and left on Saturday, so I am left at home with a puppy and a toddler. Not much reading was done this weekend.

I finished Divergent and got about 80 pages into Insurgent. I don't think I'm going to finish today but hopefully I can get started on Allegiant by Wednesday.

Ha. Yes! I may be sacrificing sleep too. Thank goodness for the Kindle app as DD is cutting another tooth and not sleeping.

I had a four-day weekend, so I got quite a bit of reading done. I finished listening to The Red Pyramid, which was only okay. I've started listening to The Rose Garden, which I already love. I read the new Bridget Jones, which was mildly entertaining. I also re-read Morrigan's Cross.

I didn't get much reading done this weekend. I read about 50 pages in both Meet Me in Venice and The Host.

This was an epic reading weekend for me! I brought my book to the gym on Friday afternoon, so that made a difference, and then DH went out on Friday night, so I had a nice quiet house to myself after DD went to bed.

I finished The Dream Thieves on Friday night and I read all of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight over the rest of the weekend. Then last night I started The Fiery Cross, but I only got through about 6 pages before I fell asleep.

I finished up the last 25% of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was #32 for the year and for FBC. I loved it as usual and am kind of sad that there are only two books left in the series for my reread. But after I finish I'm going to tackle one of the dozen books everyone here is talking about so that's good!

I finished up Perfect Chemistry. I was about to start Amy & Rogers Epic Detour but I think I'll hold out for Allegiant... wish I had more sick days.

I had hoped to finish Shadow and Bone, but I only read about 50 pages. I'm liking it, but finding it VERY predictable.

I finished The Distant Hours by Kate Morton, which I really enjoyed. I was reading The Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley on my Kindle and decided to do the Whispersync for Voice deal with it so I can go back and forth between the audio and kindle versions. I don't have all the kinks worked out yet, but since I always have an audiobook and kindle book going at the same time, it's nice to be able to stick with the same book. I read/listened to about 1/3 of it this weekend.

I was at work all weekend and despite this I finished The Wise Man's Fear and made it nearly to the end of Forever by Maggie Stiefvater. I also read one chapter of Quiet.

I listened to some of Reconstructing Amelia while cleaning and cooking and read about 100 pages of The Eternity Cure. It's taking me forever to get through!

I finished up Days of Fire: Bush and Cheney in the White House. I loved the book but it was one that took a few weeks to read.

I started re-reading Insurgent on Saturday and only have about 70 pages left to go. I could have finished it last night but wanted to have something to read tonight. I'm so excited! My pre-ordered copy of Allegiant has shipped and will be here tomorrow!!

I would tell you that it will get better as they get older, but mine is still ruling with an iron fist.

I started and finished The View from Here by Cindy Myers, which was a B&N Nookbook cheapie. I really liked it!

I also am reading three "for fun" books right now, which is weird for me. I usually am reading one or perhaps two at a time. I am reading Will Grayson, Will Grayson, which I am loving. I am about halfway done.

Because I am reading a hardcover copy of that, I started reading Lover at Last on the treadmill on Saturday because I can only read on my Nook on the treadmill. However, I am not ready to be done reading the BDB books (I CAN'T LET GOOOOOOOOOOOO!), so I am reading that one slowly. So I also started reading Attachments by Rainbow Rowell on my Nook so that Lover at Last would last longer. Luckily, they are all vastly different books, so I don't think I will get them confused.

I read Free Four. I was not pleased. It wasn't a bad story or anything but it was one chapter of Divergent from Four's perspective. There is an author's note in the beginning that said that made it seem like there would be shocking revelations seeing that from Fours eyes, but I didn't find anything shocking about it. I wish she would have done a few more chapters. Not worth the $0.99 for sure!

I started TFiOS and am to a point where I know I'm going to get punched in the gut and I don't want it to happen. This is the first book that I have ever loved so much but didn't want to finish.

I neglected The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making because I just cannot get into it.

I made a lot of progress on I'd Know You Anywhere. I hope to finish tonight. I am LOVING it.

I finished The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton. I really enjoyed the book.

I also went to the library book sale and got 19 books for $10. Most of which were on my tbr list. Yay!

I finished Blood Bound, book 2 in the Mercy Thompson series. I liked it so I will keep on reading those. I also read Grave Intent yesterday. Good book, kept me interested. Started If You Find Me today at lunch, so far so good.

i read a bit of Merrick before I realized that I should have read the other 6 books in the series first. so i reqeusted interview with the vampire from the library and read through 2 cookbooks that i took out. a cooking light slow cooker book and a tuscan book.
