I just bought tickets to see The Goo Goo Dolls on my anniversary!  I squealed like I was in high school when I heard they would be playing here.

    .....um....

I just looked up the top 100 hits in 2000. 2000 sucked. I was probably listening to old school punk back then. Sex Pistols, The Clash, Black Flag.

  • I barely remember what I had for lunch yesterday, much less the music I was listening to back then. Seems like a lifetime ago. I imagine it was whatever band I'd recently seen live. I was going out a lot back then.
I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.

  • Oh geez...I can't remember specific band names.
But lots and lots of Alternative.  For those in the DC area, I attended quite a few HFStivals.
That stuff makes me a cringe for the most part now, but that probably comes with having a musician husband.

I have been addicted to the goo goo dolls and other 90's music as long as my mother can remember. So I am almost positive I listened to a lot of that.

I was stationed at Quantico around that time. DH went to an HFStival, but I was on duty and couldn't go.

Disturbed, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Blink 182, Good Charlotte, Dixie Chicks, Eminem, lots more that I can't think of right now. :)

This makes me feel ancient. I was 3/4 of the way through my tour in the Marine Corps in 2000.

I forgot about these guys. I used to adore Daniel Johns from Silver Chair. DH used to look very similar.

LAUREN. I went to Warped Tour in 2003 too! Some of our best friends were in a punk band and they played on one of the stages. I still have the CD. Crazy.

I was obsessed with Something Corporate, too. Clearly we were music soul mates.
