I'm guessing pop and country? I was on dance team, so whatever we did routines to- Nelly Furtado, Bon Jovi, dance mixes, Ricky Martin, Britney Spears, etc. I worked at LoneStar, so I got into country- Dixie Chicks and Rascal Flatts, etc. I also liked Sublime, the Offspring, Foo Fighters, Seal, The Verve, Smashing Pumpkins. I got into R&B for a while too.

@elistar @Young_Love I also sing the We love you Conrad song and replace Conrad with Millie and sing it to my dog all the time. MH was shocked when he found out that it was a real song, he thought I made it up for the dog.

In the early 2000's I was listening to a smattering of things. Mostly rock/punk/alternative though. Tool, A Perfect Circle, Disturbed, Chevelle, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Blink 182, Goo Goo Dolls, Three Days Grace, The Offspring, Fuel, The Crystal Method, Deftones, Rage, Third Eye Blind.

I was just in the chorus, but it was so much fun.

I had a similar realization with The Sound of Music. I thought I would have made an awesome Leisl, except now I would just be one of the extra nuns.

I went to Warped Tour that year too! But in NY or NJ. I saw them a few times. I used to listen to that CD on repeat all the time!

I was totally Urusla. And the next year we did The King and I and I was Lady Thiang and the guy that had played Conrad was the King. After two productions where I was essentially groveling at the same guy's feet, it started a thing where during every production we ever did until graduation I somehow inevitably ended up at this guy's feet. The things that amuse teenagers....
