Happy Friday!! What are you reading?
How do you like it so far? Is it for any of the challenges or just fun?
Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!!

Re: Happy Friday!! What are you reading?
I've already met my goal this year. Now I'm just going to see how many books I read by the end of the year. This is #29.
BFP 1/8/11 - U/S 2/24/11 (11wks) no heartbeat measuring 6w1d - D&C 2/28/11
my read shelf:
I am listening to Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. I'm not sure about it yet, I'm about 40% complete and the main character is a bit annoying.
I started Allegiant last night but didn't get very far.
I'm also reading The Lemon Meringue Pie Murder by Joanne Fluke because I needed something light in between some heavy reads.
These are #66, 67 and 68 for the year. My goal is 75.
#87 for the year
Books read in 2010: 153
Books read in 2011: 160
Books read in 2012: 134
Books read in 2013: 110
Books read in 2014: 151
Books read in 2015: 153
Books read in 2016: 31
I'm reading The Fiery Cross. I just started it Sunday night, so I haven't read much. I expect that I'll be reading this one for at least a month, maybe more.
These are #s 25 and 26 for the year, which is pretty good for me! No goals and no challenges, though.

The Elite by Kiera Cass. Just started, so no opinion yet.
These are #63 and 64 for the year. My goal is 75
I started reading ScreamFree Parenting, The Revolutionary Approach to Raising Your Kids by Keeping Your Cool by Hal Edward Runkel. It will be #83 for the year. It's not necessarily about screaming at your kids, but just remaining calm when they push your buttons. I like it so far, although I think it would be even more helpful for someone with older kids. BTW, I have only yelled at my son once and it freaked me out. I got yelled at a lot when I was kid and don't want to repeat this pattern, so that is why I picked this up.
I will probably start Bold Tricks by Karina Halle tonight.
Still reading NOS4A2 and Doctor Sleep. But in all fairness, they are both close 600 pages each!
They are both AWESOME!!! Both are for FBC.

This is on my shelf right now, waiting to be read. Sounds like it might stay there just a bit longer.
I'm in the middle of 6 books right now. I'm having some serious book ADD this month. I'm reading Salem's Lot, Columbine, Orlando, Crucial Confrontations, Anna Karenina, and Havana Nocturne: How the Mob Owned Cuba and then Lost it to the Revolution. DH is out of town for a few days next week so I'm hoping I can get caught up and through at least two of them.
