Fifth Anniversary 500 Love Its 1000 Comments Name Dropper
in Nest Book Club

This weekend I got the catalog of spring classes for next semester so I was looking through it trying to find 3 credits of literally anything I could add on to the 2 other required classes I'll need to graduate in May and I found EN 266, Harry Potter. My jaw hit the floor and I got SO excited I could finish my degree with a Harry Potter class until I saw that it's offered AT THE SAME TIME as one of the classes I HAVE to take (only time the required one is offered too). :'(

 

Someone talk me down and tell me that if I had to dissect it, it wouldn't be fun anymore. I'm more bummed about this than I should be.

    I would so want to take that class. Maybe you can figure a way to make it work out with a different class, or take it after you graduate as a "just for fun" class. That is really cool though. What school are you going too??!! I want to take a HP class.

    Sadly not online. I go to a small private college (chosen primarily because they defer tuition until I get my reimbursement from my employer so I don't have to take out loans or pay up front at all).

    I think the only fair thing for me to do would be to sign up for classes and then tell you exactly how horrible this one course is.  I'm quite sure it's not worth it.  :o)

    I would love an HP class! My friend had an undergrad HP class and they went to Disney World for the WW of HP park. I'm still jealous. It's been two years.

    I have nothing else to add other than I am sad they obviously do not know how to correctly schedule classes.

    That would be the best class ever!! I wish my school had fun classes like that. They just have boring practical ones. Silly college.
