What books did you start/finish/totally neglect/make good progress on this weekend?

I read about half of A Bend in the Road by Nicholas Sparks and read Surrender to Sultry (loved it!).

I read about 120 pages of Just One Day and finished Lemon Meringue Pie Murder. It was light and fun and just what I needed before jumping into Allegiant.

I read a couple of chapters of BDB #5. I need to pick it up though because like all of my library holds came in at once and if I don't get to them I go back to the end of the hold list, which for a couple is like 70 people.

Finished Hell House last night. I know this might not be popular...but I didn't really like it. I just couldn't really get into it that much so it didn't creep me out like I thought it would. Picked up Just One Year yesterday, so I will be starting that today.

Like, nothing.
All I wanted to do all weekend was curl up on the couch with a blanket and cup of tea and read, but I did none of that at all.

I read maybe two chapters of The Fiery Cross, and that's it.

I finished Sultry with a Twist. Loved it! I started Neverwhere but didn't get that far into it. I caught up on stuff on my DVR and drank too much wine so I still think the weekend was a win!

Despite a really really busy weekend, I read a good chunk of Sharp Objects. Love it!! The Red Sox being in the World Series has been giving me a lot of reading time because it's all DH wants to watch.

I read some of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and I started Allegiant. I had a very busy weekend with the world series, the patriots game and doing tequila shots and Irish bar bombs with my coworkers.

I finished The Exiled Queen by Cinda Williams Chima and started The Grey Wolf Throne.

I need to reread Insurgent and then start on Allegiant, but I am addicted to the Seven Realms series at the moment!

Oh, I read a little bit of The Demon King this weekend too. Not a lot though. I keep trying but it hasn't grabbed me as of yet.

I finished listening to Sharp Objects, and then really didn't do anything else. We had a pretty busy weekend so I'm hoping to make up some ground this week while DH is out of town. I just got the audio of Allegiant from the library and I'm planning to listen to it starting tomorrow.

I read a little more of The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland and am still hating it. It's never taken me SO long to read a book with less than 200 pages. UGH.

I also started Gone Girl yesteray. I'm not that far in so I don't have an opinion on it yet.

I felt the same way about this one. It took me forever to read it and I felt no reward when done.

I finished my Nancy Drew book and got through more than half of Donald Driver's book. I really wanted to finish but DD was sick all weekend and DH worked so I was just too exhausted to read.

I didn't read anything this weekend.

I brought my nook with me to work so I could read while I pump and the battery is dead! The book I'm reading is a PDF review copy so I can't even read it on my phone.

I finished Hourglass by Myra McEntire and really liked it!
Started in earnest on The Leopard Tree (a free kindle book that's pretty good.)
Read just a few pages of my hard copy book, The Golem and the Jinni. Good but the logistics of holding a baby & a big book were not lining up!

I binge read the second half of Allegiant yesterday and now I can finally read the spoiler threads! Woot!

I also started Lexicon by Max Barry after Laini Taylor was raving about it on twitter. Pretty good so far. This is probably a good pick for fans of Ready Player One and Mr. Penumbra's.

I finished Sharp Objects. It was my least favorite of hers but still very good! I started The Round House by Louise Erdrich. I'm liking it so far. She's such a great writer.

I finished listening to The Rose Garden, and then started listening to Bertie Plays the Blues. I'm about halfway through Allegiant, which I have to finish by Wednesday so I can return it.
