Sorry I've been a bit MIA the last few days...it's been a bit of a crazy time.
Friday morning I woke up with some major abdominal cramping. Long story short, I ended up fainting on the bedroom floor.
Fast forward an hour to the doctor. Get my hcg drawn and confirm the miscarriage. They do an ultrasound to make sure they can't see anything/verify it's not ectopic and low and behold, there is a 63mm cyst in my right ovary. Seriously, the thing took up most of the whole screen.
Because of the fainting episode, the dr wanted to draw my hemoglobin. Well, as I'm sitting there, I about pass out again. They finally get blood from my finger prick, and the level comes back as 7. Dr now thinks the cyst could be full of blood and I may be bleeding internally.
Rushed to the ER, whisked up to the OB ward (fun, with all the babies and happy pictures on the walls). More blood work, tests, etc. Confirm a higher hemoglobin, may not actually be bleeding out.
Long story short, after 24 hours in the hospital, I am ok. I started the miscarriage Sunday and due to the (tmi) ridiculous amounts of clotting, they think I may have had some blood pooling that could have caused the lower hemoglobin/fainting epidodes. I'm on sort of bed rest- no exercise, long shopping/standing, anything that could cause the monster cyst to cause torsion.
Going back to the dr tomorrow to confirm my hcg is still going down and will have an ultrasound in a few weeks to make sure the cyst is decreasing in size. Then, we can start testing to see why I have had this miscarriage and the chemical. I am emotionally drained, exhausted and just numb. It was honestly one of the scarier things I have experienced. I have made an appointment with a therapist for next Monday to help with this loss and the ongoing battle with our infertility. Thanks, as always, for your never ending support. It helps so much to know I'm not alone in this.

I'm so glad you were well taken care of. I hope that monster cyst goes away soon.
Rest and take care of yourself now. When it's time, I hope the dr can get you the answers you need to move forward.
