Hypothetically...
I...just. Yeah.
So lets say that hypothetically, last week, one of your MIL's nieces posts this as her FB status:
"Life lesson for today: Ladies...learn the important lesson that cultivating a respect-based relationship with your man's mother plays an importnat role in your relationship with him. You don't have to be the best of friends, but open lines of communication and mutual respect are in order. Remember that while you are the Love of his life, it doesn't mean you are the ONLY woman in his life. And if you have your own son, think about your relationship with him...now think about how one day he will grow up and how you hope that he will find a woman who inderstands and respects that relationship between the two of you and encourages it to continue. It may not seem like it, but letting that relationship with her sour, will have an effect on your raltionship sooner or later"
And hypothetically, your MIL's comment on it:
"and from an MIL perspective "THANK YOU VERY MUCH", I HOPE MY DAU IN LAWS READ THIS. Very true that this relationship is "well" observed by the little ones not a whole lot gets past them ! Its sad that our society has such a negative opinion of MILs, we aren't all terrible
AND THEN yesterday, your MIL hypothetically shared the status on her own page saying how much she loved it.
Hypothetically, how do you react?

Gah! Your MIL is something else! I think the only thing to do here is shake your head and completely ignore it.

MIL is twice divorced with two sons and the niece is widowed with a son and a daughter, I think. I've never met her but I've seen some other FB family related drama she's caused.
